The Roland Blues Cube Stage Guitar Amp 60W 1x12from Roland Blues Cube Stage Guitar Amp 60W 1x12is equipped with 60W of power, and a 12" speaker with Tube Logic design. The open-back cabinet features poplar plywood construction, which offers acoustically vibrant tone for solo or group performances.

The Blues Cube Stage has two independent channels: one voiced for cleaner tones, and the other for crunch. Each channel has its own Boost and Tone switches to shape the character. The Clean channel's single volume control dials in natural tube fullness and bite as the volume is cranked, while the Crunch channel's variable gain control provides a range of grit flavors from mild to aggressive. With the press of a switch, the Dual Tone mode lets you blend both channels together for a wide variety of tones. Like a vintage tube amp, the Blues Cube works well with stompboxes, allowing you to shape your personal sound by hitting the amp's front end with your favorite gain pedals.

Furthermore, the Blues Cube Stage features onboard reverb, and the rear panel is equipped with a footswitch jack for remote switching of channel selection and Dual Tone mode. In addition, the amp's USB jack which allows you to capture the Blues Cube's tones directly into your computer recording applications.

[1 x 12" (30 cm)] The AC30 is great for practicing when others want to sleep. It's very compact and fits in the accessories compartment in my guitar case. Tone is good (not great), and certainly acceptable for practicing. Given its small size, I don't think anyone can expect killer tone. I find the effects (Chorus, Delay, Reverb) a bit cheesy and don't use them. The volume is sufficient with headphones. I've used it with Sennheiser Momentums (18 ohm) and AKG K240 MkII (55 ohm). I've also tried it with a JBL Charge. I had to crank the Charge to full volume for the sound to fill a small room. But hey ... that makes for a very portable amp solution.

[30.9 lb (14 kg)] Gear: Agile 3010 SE, 1950's wiring, Seymour Duncan Antiquities, CTS 500K pots Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Pretty nifty thing. I made mine into a really compact set up with a 3 ft cable going from my headphones into the amPLug G2. Works really well with clear channels. The effects are fun to play with.

[58 W] This thing rocks out on earbuds, portable speakers, and a 4x12 cab. It's very boomy on an amps so the tone needs adjusting. Careful with the volume hooked to an amp as well, a little is a lot. The aux in audio is so useful for playing along with songs or a metronome with the volume being independent for fine tuning what you want to hear more of. I would recommend this, it sounds just as good as an amp modeler fro what it does.

[60 W] I am really enjoying this amplifier! The sounds are great and it was for a good price. Still figuring out how to use it to its full potential, but as an intermediate player, it's well suited for my needs.

[60 W] So far so good- had a little difficulty with FedX shipping - The foam packing supports were all crumbled - but the board was not damaged . It’s pretty easy to navigate - kinda wish they had a MIDI in port. But I’ll use the USB computer connection for now. Downloading the Vendor driver made connecting to my new MacAir easy. I’m 72 and soldered my first MIDI cable back in 1983 to write and play sequences from a Comadore 64. What can I say? A nice keyboard and the price was 1/2 of what a Kurzweil stage piano cost me in 1987. And, half the weight- so I can take it on gigs without busting something!
