The Easyrig Cinema 3 700N Gimbal Rig Standard Armis a body-worn support system for camera operators working with handheld motorized gimbal rigs weighing 33 to 44 lb. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso. This lets you shoot for longer periods of time without worrying about arm fatigue. The system consists of the Gimbal Rig Vest, 700N shock absorber, and a standard support arm. As the name suggests, the Gimbal Rig Vest is optimized for use with motorized gimbal stabilizers, providing increased lower back support that allows you to carry weights further away from your body. Also included is a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport of the Easyrig system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work with a vixia g20? If not, what would.

A: Yes it will. This system has clearance for up to 7.5 tall and 8.5 wide. It will have no issues handling the Vixia G20.

Q: 2. Just wanted to ask for some feedback from users. If you had to choose only one, would you choose this or a vest steadicam?

A: Depending on the camera setup and the intention of the shooter, either stabilizer style can excel in production. If you are looking to lighten your overall load with a more handheld-like feel, the Easyrigs are a good solution. If you want a more characteristically cinematic shot I would recommend an arm/vest setup. Personal preference comes into play as well. The design of the Easyrig may not be ideal for certain indoor shots, whereas a arm/vest setup is usually a bit heavier and takes more practice to use effectively.

Q: 3. It is compatible with Tilta Ring Advance tube diameter and the bar is same width too?

A: Yes, the Easyrig EasyTilt Gimbal Tilt Control Kit will adapt to any 30mm tube system as well as the Tilta Advanced Ring Grip for DJI RS 3 Pro and RS 2 Gimbals.

Q: 4. Can we use this with minimax or it was made for larger Easyrigs?

A: The Easyrig EasyTilt Gimbal Tilt Control Kit, will be compatible with any Easyrig models equipped with a Easyrig EA033Q quick release or Easyrig Standard camera hook.

Q: 5. Can it safely strap to the SMALLRIG NATO Rail Handle 1955?

A: The camera top handle clamp can attach itself around the SmallRig DSLR Action NATO Handle B&H # SM1955 .

Q: 6. Does this vest accommodate for tall people? 6'+?

A: I'm 6'2 and it works great. You can adjust the bar to be a little taller if need be.

Q: 7. would it be possible to get a ronin s inverted mounted on an easyrig mini with a c200?

A: Would do not believe this would be possible and do not recommend it. The Ronin-S is really designed for smaller cameras and using a larger camera like the C200 on it might not be possible.

Q: 8. What happens if you exceed the 15.4 lb weight limit? I know the old Mini spring could break.

A: Dear SirOn the Minimax, there an over weight protection. So it can not break, but at 15 pounds and more the spring will not work and the rope will be at the maximum expansion. Hope it will help. Pierre

Q: 9. Would this rig fit female dps that range from height of 52-54?

A: Am a female DP and 5'2 , have used this extensively to op and it has definitely been a great accessory to have. Although I'm probably at the shortest end of what this will fit comfortably and decently. They do make a women's specific vest Cinema Flex Vest that I have tried and really is a much better fit but they're for bigger rigs. As far as the minimax comfort, it's pretty good, not perfect but decent for long shots and helps distribute the pressure.

Q: 10. does it work with WEEBILL S?

A: It will not. We recommend this product instead from Digitalfoto Solutions. https://bhpho.to/3eGpH6z

[14.3 lb] I don't know how I ever left home without it. My new favorite piece of gear.

[14.3 lb] This is great for a cinema style camera build. I fly a Arri Amira with zoom lenses, FIZ and teradek, so something in the 25lb range. This system allows for me to go hand held all day with minimal effort. I'm a large guy, 220lbs and 6' tall, and the cinema 3 vest fits me just fine with plenty of room for larger guys. These things are built like tanks, you can zip tie the bag shut and check it on airlines no problem.

Easyrigs are basically career extenders that save your back.

[14.3 lb] Unless you're doing gimbal work, this is the best EasyRig for most setups.

The Vario gives the user the ability to adjust tension for a wide range of camera sizes and weights. The gimbal vest is great for waist support, much preferred over the original vest in my opinion. The 5 arm is the perfect size to get the camera off your shoulder but not be obtrusive in your environment.

Only wish I bought this sooner.

[14.3 lb] Good Lord I waited too long to buy this. It's a hefty purchase (for me), but I've been spending too much money renting this same Easyrig since this particular nonsense came out.

The first week I had it I was strapped to an Arri Amira and some cinema zoom lenses that would've otherwise not been possible for me to operate handheld for as long as we were shooting. Had zero issues adjusting back to my much lighter RED DSMC2 and prime lens package.

I went with the Vario 5 because I knew I'd be using this Easyrig with multiple camera packages and weights. The 5 Extended Arm option was great for me because it allows me to reposition for different camera builds, center of gravities, and easily switch between shooting a balanced shoulder mount or from the hip. I chose the Cinema 3 Vest over the Gimbalrig because I like the smaller profile and it fits me better. I'm about 5'8, 160lbs, and I'm a 30-31 waist size.

[Vest System] If you've ever worked on a reality show you need an Easyrig. If you've ever gone hand held all day long with a camera that isn't balanced for your shoulder, you need an Easyrig. I've worked a reality show with a Panasonic HDX 900, Hytron battery, video transmitter, on board wireless, and Litepanel, handheld all day long, couldn't do it without an Easyrig. We own 3 of them. [14.3 lb] After years of renting Easy Rigs, dealing w/ the uneasy feeling knowing that other people probably sweat in them as much as I do and not knowing how good the rental houses clean these things, I finally got around to investing in one of these. Perfect for low mode where it can hold the camera weight chest height or lower, or static shoulder shots to give the shoulder a break. I've used this countless times over the years and finally got one. Should have done it sooner. Now I gotta save up for the Stabil arm

[14.3 lb] I have been the this business for over 30 years. Back in the day cameras were big and heavy. I was also a lot younger. As cameras became smaller and lighter it extended my ability to shoot. However I recently moved up to a Sony PXW-FS7 with a prime lens, mattbox, and a lot of other stuff piled on it that brought the weight up to about 24lbs. So needless to say I needed something to help support it. I looked at all kinds of under support braces and saw the Easyrigbeing demonstrated at NAB this year and thought that looks like my solution. I emailed the company in Sweeden because I was not sure which rig would be best for me. I got a response the next day. A day later I had the rig. Within 10 minutes of the UPS delivery I had it on and was testing it out. It basically comes ready to go. As advertised it completely distributes the weight throughout the rig. you can place the camera at any point around you and it will stay. There would be no way I could ever shoot hand held without this rig. It does take a little getting used to, moving around tight spaces things like that. Make no mistake, you do feel the weight, but its well distributed. Great product.

[Vest System] An absolut must for all heavier non-broadcast cameras such as the Sony F3. It's kind of the only solution for handheld shooting without an assistant which i use it mostly for shooting manly documentaries.

[Vest System] Have used now on four shoots, two all-day hand held, two Movi. At 45, I have back pain on almost any shoot where I have to go handheld for over 15 minutes with my large camera package. I had tried other rigs for the Movi, but never fully evading the 'end of the day discomfort' that was sure to show up. This package changed all of that. Of all the gear I've bought over the years, this has to be my best purchase.

The impact was immediate... walked away from two 14 hour days with zero pain or stiffness. Next shoot, Stabil arm worked so well with my Movi walk-and-talk, again.. no back pain.

The quality and build of this rig is top notch. Nothing overlooked, no expense spared with build quality. And to top it off... takes seconds to 'rig up' with the help of the easy lock waist belt. If I was hot, I'd easily take it off between setups. I could rig-up as late as talent walking to set which is something I could never do before with the movi and other setups.

Bottom line, this rig is an investment in your future as a DP if you suffer from any kind of back pain. Wish I had purchased 10 years ago.
