The Easyrig Cinema 3 200N Gimbal Rig with Extended Armis a body-worn support system for camera operators working with handheld motorized gimbal rigs weighing 8 to 13 lb. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso. This lets you shoot for longer periods of time without worrying about arm fatigue. The system consists of the Gimbal Rig Vest, 200N shock absorber, and a 9" extended support arm. As the name suggests, the Gimbal Rig Vest is optimized for use with motorized gimbal stabilizers, providing increased lower back support that allows you to carry weights further away from your body. Also included is a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport of the Easyrig system.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there any 3/8 threads to screw in eyebolt for use with the kong quick release?

A: Yes, The Easyrig EasyTilt gimbal tilt Control kit mount with the ball stud uses 3/8 threads. So you should be able to use it with a Kong Quick Release.

Q: 2. would it be possible to get a ronin s inverted mounted on an easyrig mini with a c200?

A: Would do not believe this would be possible and do not recommend it. The Ronin-S is really designed for smaller cameras and using a larger camera like the C200 on it might not be possible.

Q: 3. how can I work with Ronin mx? what I need?

A: Nothing else would be needed.

Q: 4. What are the dimensions of the crossbar? Thanks!

A: The dimensions of the crossbar of the Easyrig EasyTilt Gimbal Tilt Control Kit is 680mm (26.7”).

Q: 5. Would you recommend this easyrig for a movi pro and a light Red camera setup? Or which easyrig would be more appropriate?

A: The Minimax has an operating load of 2-7kg ( 4.4 -15.4lbs). As long as your complete load out ( camera, gimbal, batteries, lens & accessories ) does not exceed the max recommended load you will be able to work with the system.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Feiyu Tech AK4500 gimbal with dual handbar and black magic pocket 4k?

A: Max weight is around 14lbs for this. Keep in mind, an easy rig without a flowcine arm won’t stabilize your walking/the up and down motion of your movements and will likely exaggerate your movements.

Q: 7. Can it safely strap to the SMALLRIG NATO Rail Handle 1955?

A: The camera top handle clamp can attach itself around the SmallRig DSLR Action NATO Handle B&H # SM1955 .

Q: 8. What happens if you exceed the 15.4 lb weight limit? I know the old Mini spring could break.

A: Dear SirOn the Minimax, there an over weight protection. So it can not break, but at 15 pounds and more the spring will not work and the rope will be at the maximum expansion. Hope it will help. Pierre

Q: 9. Does this have 1/4" mount studs on both ends? Image shows one male 1/4". Not clear if both ends have studs.

A: The DigitalFoto Solution Limited Adjustable Extended Stick has a male 1/4" mount on one end and a female 1/4" on the other end.

Q: 10. Can I mount this onto a tripod with 1/4'' screw?

A: Yes you can.

[Vest System] Absolutely LOVE this thing. Takes some getting used to, but man. Once I got used to it and got it setup correctly, I noticed that I was able to focus on filming and worry less about arm and shoulder strain/pain. Being able to just work and get the shots needed is a huge benefit. I totally recommend any serious vidoegrapher/filmmaker investing in an Easyrig! Just make sure you know the weight ratings.

[Vest System] This is great for a cinema style camera build. I fly a Arri Amira with zoom lenses, FIZ and teradek, so something in the 25lb range. This system allows for me to go hand held all day with minimal effort. I'm a large guy, 220lbs and 6' tall, and the cinema 3 vest fits me just fine with plenty of room for larger guys. These things are built like tanks, you can zip tie the bag shut and check it on airlines no problem.

Easyrigs are basically career extenders that save your back.

[Vest System] Good Lord I waited too long to buy this. It's a hefty purchase (for me), but I've been spending too much money renting this same Easyrig since this particular nonsense came out.

The first week I had it I was strapped to an Arri Amira and some cinema zoom lenses that would've otherwise not been possible for me to operate handheld for as long as we were shooting. Had zero issues adjusting back to my much lighter RED DSMC2 and prime lens package.

I went with the Vario 5 because I knew I'd be using this Easyrig with multiple camera packages and weights. The 5 Extended Arm option was great for me because it allows me to reposition for different camera builds, center of gravities, and easily switch between shooting a balanced shoulder mount or from the hip. I chose the Cinema 3 Vest over the Gimbalrig because I like the smaller profile and it fits me better. I'm about 5'8, 160lbs, and I'm a 30-31 waist size.

[Vest System] I rented and used different version of the Easy Rig and I Think this has to be one of the better builds. It allows me to go all day handheld without the stress on my back or arms. I've done gigs all handheld without a rig and now with a rig. I have to say that I will never go back to without a rig. This support system is putting years back onto my career. It's pricey, but then what not expensive in our business. Solid build, sturdy, and well crafted. There are other rigs that are out there that less expensive. I know. I've used them. They pale in comparison to this one. So, do yourself a favor and buy once and don't settle for a cheap imitation.

[Vest System] After years of renting Easy Rigs, dealing w/ the uneasy feeling knowing that other people probably sweat in them as much as I do and not knowing how good the rental houses clean these things, I finally got around to investing in one of these. Perfect for low mode where it can hold the camera weight chest height or lower, or static shoulder shots to give the shoulder a break. I've used this countless times over the years and finally got one. Should have done it sooner. Now I gotta save up for the Stabil arm

[Vest System] I love this easyrig, have had it out on several shoots now and can say confidently it's an outstanding piece of equipment. Saves my back, hands and arms from fatigue and potential injury. The quick release works perfect and inspires confidence with an audible snap-in when it secures, seems bulletproof to me. This is perfect for on-the-go filming situations when time is at a premium, and helps create a nice tamed natural hand-held look when handled correctly. One observation I've had is this becomes pretty difficult to manage in a high wind situation when shooting outdoors, as the pole gets blown around and you really have to fight the jerking/swaying it creates. Otherwise, no significant qualms and I'm glad to have finally picked this up!
