The Samson Concert 288 Presentation Dual-Channel Wireless System is a wireless microphone solution for two presenters or instructors working at the same time and includes two HS5 headset mics and two LM5 lavalier mics, allowing the users to choose the type they prefer to work with.

The microphones feature locking connectors that plug into the 3-pin mini XLR connectors on the CB288 bodypack transmitters. Belt clips on the transmitters attach to the talent for hands-free presentations. The transmitters are powered by two AA batteries for up to 8 hours and transmit to the receiver at a range of up to 300'.

The CR288 dual-channel tabletop receiver offers 16 selectable UHF frequencies to choose from to find a clean, interference-free frequency for transmission. Infrared sync lets you lock the transmitters to the receiver with a quick button press. The front panel has dual 7-segment LEDs showing the operating channels, two volume knobs, two external antennas as well as Ready and Peak indicators. The back of the receiver features individual balanced XLR outputs for routing signals to two separate mixer channels as well as a single 1/4" unbalanced mix output that condenses both signals to a single channel for a direct connection into a PA speaker.

The system can be expanded with additional transmitters and receivers to allow up to 24 systems (48 performers) to operate simultaneously in under optimal conditions. Rackmounting accessories for the receiver are included along with a power supply and a 1/4" to 1/4" connecting cable.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is channel A B C D ?

A: Channel A,B,C or D refers the the frequency the mixrophones transmit on. If buying multipe systems you should buy different frequencies.

Q: 2. What are the dimensions of the receiver?

A: It's not tiny... I have one at home that I use with a DDJ WEGO2 and its around 7 x 4 x 1.5 inches.

Q: 3. Will this unit work with a digital camera?

A: The Nady DW-22 HTLT Digital Wireless Microphone System has the potential to work with a digital camera, but compatibility would largely be influenced by the capabilities and specifications of the camera. The camera should have an audio input jack capable of receiving an external audio input, and the set would need the proper cables to connect the two units together.

Q: 4. With an adapter to a 3.5 mm jack, can I connect the audio output directly to my camcorder's mic input?

A: Technically you could but it is not recommended. The receiver sports a line level output whereas your camcorder sports a mic level input, which may cause clipping or other undesirable effects.

Q: 5. Can it be connected with Public address system is speaker output.

A: Yes it can via the rear output port.

Q: 6. What are the choices of frequencies. Already have 915.30 aand 916.80?

A: The entire DW-22 series are 900mHz: https://bhpho.to/3gpl5Qh

Q: 7. Is it possible to use both the handheld and the lavaliere at the same time with the one receiver?

A: No, only one transmitter at a time. For two wireless transmitters to work simultaneously you will need an additional system and each system will have to be tuned to different frequencies.

Q: 8. How many of this system can be use simultaneously?

A: I bought two, for each of my granddaughters. They use them simultaneously without any problems.

Q: 9. This mics system works with the Pyle Pro Mini Blue Series Stereo 240W Power Amplifier?

A: These mics will work with this system only.

Q: 10. What kind of cable is used to connect the output to recorder ?

A: 1/4 male strait cable

[Cardioid] I got this as a second mic for the XP310. It couldn't be any easier to install. Slide it in, turn the unit on, and you're good to go.

Mine had a little bit of noise, but I fixed it with the gain adjustment.

If you have a 310 or 312, this is a very affordable way to expand it's capability.

[Mono] Once I figured out the colored rings around the top and bottom of the microphones it was very easy to set up. One mic comes pre set as mic A and one as mic B. I figured that, used the IR to set it and I was off and running. I can set this up with my Fender Passport Event or my smaller Anchor Audio AC 130+. This was $ less than the Shure microphone set up and I very happy that I purchased this over the Shure.

[4.1 lb] Bought this wireless lavalier microphone system for a presentation. It worked exactly as advertised. The sound was clean, clear, and had plenty of volume to spare. As was noted in other reviews, the tie clip comes loose fairly easily, but a small piece of scotch tape worked great. It was a breeze to setup, and extremely simple to use. Our school will be using it for a while.

[Analog UHF ] These work just fine. Have used them in Manhattan for PA use in panel discussions and the like with no problems. This is notable because of all the RF in the air here. I now have 5 of these units, including 4 lavaliers and 1 handheld. They have all worked fine right out of the box. I have not used them at their full maximum spec. range of 300ft, but 75ft has been no problem, even through one wall. Some have commented that their construction seems flimsy, but in my experience they are built well enough, especially considering their performance at a fraction of the price of other brands. And I have seen several wedding bands that use them exclusively. The fact that these are frequency agile is a big plus, as you can mix mikes and base units within their band (units are fixed to either C or D band in the US), and choose from 16 channels per band. Biggest complaint, by far, is that the foam windscreen is easy to lose, so maybe get some extras - they can be found cheaply enough - or find a way to fix the windscreen to the mike. BTW the replacement plug-in mikes are quite inexpensive, and I've used these quite successfully to replace mikes on Shure SLX body packs.

[Black] The ease of use is astouning! We were able to set it up and get it working in less than 5 minutes. Lavalier mics are easy to reposition, head set mics are comfortable, nothing yet has made us want to doc a point/star away.

[Battery] We ordered this system along with a Fender Passport Conference System. One of the microphones did not work. We opened it and found one wire to be loose. We called B&H and they immediately replaced the broken microphone. Thank you!

[Lavalier] I've been using this for teaching for a couple of weeks now and can't find anything to complain about. Sound quality is great, battery life is great. I like having the option of being able to output the two channels separately (balanced outputs) or through a common feed 1/4 or 1/8 unbalanced output.

[Cardioid] The challenge was that for zoom tap dance, fitness and jazz classes, there is vocal instruction and music, add to this sounds from tap shoes, w/all happening at the same time. To see the instructor's whole body he/she is usually far from the computer microphone (which is usually minimal at best). Paired with a zoom U-22, this system made a big difference. It works perfectly.
B&H is the best. Good advice, product options and fast delivery.
