The Auray stand has a standard 5/8"-27 threaded mount which accepts most microphone clips and shockmounts, and its sliding bracket allows you to position the mic inside the reflection filter. The Element mic and its shockmount will fit on the stand and inside the reflection filter.

A: From our testing with RRS and Kirk L-brackets and plates, thus far there hasn't been a brand of ballhead that has severely restricted their use. Based on the arca-swiss design that 3LT employs, we foresee no issues with your plates and the 3LT AirHed VU ballhead/clamp.

A: Yes, you can mount the Blue Yeti microphone on the Auray RFMS-580 tripod stand. The Yeti has a standard 5/8" mounting thread on the bottom which can be attached to microphone standard or broadcast arm. To keep the mic isolated from noise and vibrations, the manufacturer recommends using the Blue Radius III Shockmount (B&H# BLRADIUS3) to mount the Yeti first, then attaching the shockmount to a mic stand or broadcast arm.
