Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the weight limit?

A: Maximum Load Capacity4 lb

Q: 2. Can you mount camera vertical ?

A: yes you can mount the device with the camera vertical. but you need a good tripod. I use it with Nikon D 800 and 24-70 f2.8 Len.I'm sorry for the delay in answering your question

Q: 3. Is that a 1/4 thread on the bottom?

A: yes

Q: 4. Would this be a good option to use for time lapse photography?

A: Not particularly. Its modes include 180-360 degree rotation with set number of stops (1-200) for panoramic stitching. This is great for panorama and rotational product still photography, but would introduce hitches in video. There are three motor speeds, and the slowest is about a minute for a full rotation. You can also manually hold down the rotation button for continuous rotation (using the remote so that you don't introduce any jiggle) but a minute of 360 degree rotation doesn't give you a lot to work with for time-lapse. Since your question is about photography, rather than video, you can set the shutter speed from 1-99 seconds, so that may be applicable. So, it's not super flexible, but it's excellent for its intended use.

Q: 5. How much weight does it support?

A: Unfortunately, Matthews does not list a load capacity for the Matthews Mini Boom Rolling Kit. Just the base has a load capacity of 250 lbs, but the riser and boom will decrease the load capacity significantly. I would be comfortable placing an equipment weighing 20 lbs on it.

Q: 6. can use for phot 360 with nikon z6II?

A: The Vello FreeWave Orbit Motorized Pan Head with Remote and MPH-P8 Plate Kit is compatilbe with the Nikon Z6ii camera for 360 photography.

Q: 7. can it fit a Matthews Hollywood Baby Junior Double Riser Stand?

A: The Tenba Rolling Tripod/Grip Case (48", Black) is compatible with the Matthews Hollywood Baby Junior Double Riser Stand (Black, 9.6').

Q: 8. Has anyone flown with this? Does it fit the oversized requirements of being below 80 linear inches? I don't see the height in the specs...

A: Here are the full dimensions for this Case. 49 in. W x 10.5 in. H x 10.5 in.D ( 124 X 27 X 27 cm ).

Q: 9. How long does the slowest speed of 360 rotation take? I'd like to also be able to use this for timelapse photo/video. Would this be suitable?

A: To answer the second part of your inquiry, it would depend on the movement you are trying to create as to if this would work for your time lapse photo/video needs. Do note that the Vello FreeWave Orbit Motorized Pan Head is designed for panning purposes (rotating on a horizontal axis, as opposed to a slider, which moves linearly along a track. If you are looking for a rotational camera movement with your camera in the center of the rotation, then the Orbit Pan Head would work for your usage needs. However, if you are instead looking for side-to-side movement (as in the camera gliding from left to right or vice-versa), or back-to-front movement toward or away from your subject, then a motorized slider may instead be needed for your planned movement needs.

Q: 10. can syncro flashes in each shot of camera?

A: The hot shoe of he camera does not connect to the Vello FreeWave Orbit Motorized Pan Head with Remote and MPH-P8 Plate Kit. So using a flash attached via the hotshoe of the camera will work.

[Tripod] You cannot go wrong with the orbit mic stand. I use the T1 stand with the triad orbit O1 boom. It works perfectly whether you are sitting or standing. Wish I would have purchased orbit stands years ago. They are very heavy and stable as well.

[Black] Little adapter that will let you mount your iPhone (with a bracket and some other little adapters of course) on a mic stand. No problems thus far.

[Tripod] Wow! Quite simply the most amazing stand I've ever run across. These things are so solid and beefy that I thought I was dreaming. The engineering and quality are evident throughout. They are pricey but you definitely get your money's worth and it's possible you'll never ever replace them. I'll save my shekels and get more in the future.

[Tripod] This T3 Triad-Orbit tripod is very well constructed and looks great. Very heavy duty and able ergonomically engineered to solve many of the problems experienced by pros in the field. I am using this with the O2X and am totally impressed with the design, the performance and the looks of this product line. Outstanding from concept, design, and interchangeable parts. Very well thought out. Allows use of 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8 attachments. Lights, camera, audio, mix and or match. Great for stereo recording. Heavy enough to extend boom arm and put some weight at the end. I'm ordering more....

[Straight Stand] I purchased the T3 stand without the caster from B&H and mounted huge monitor, IO-Desk as well as a very heavy and long boom arm and I am pleased with the product.

There was a reviewer that gave it 1 star because they stated B&H misled customers. I did not run into that problem. If you look at the video on the B&H website (as well as on the Triad-Oribit) website, it clearly states that you need 3 pieces of hardware to mount a monitor to a T3 stand. It's a bit expensive but for me there is nothing like it on the market. The problem with Triad-Orbit's website and videos as well as with many companies, they let the marketing folks present the material. Videos are idiotic - and frankly, marketing people are not the brightest people in the world - right? You have to do your research and read between the lines and ignore the marketing hype.

[Straight Stand] These are what I needed to use a couple of mike stands to support small secondary video camera. I like to have a second video camera running, even when I'm video along. These are useful when I don't want use a second large tripod.

[Tripod] It's hard to get excited about a mic stand, but this one has me excited. I bought mine with the O1 single boom arm and the O2X dual boom arm. I've had issues with cheaper stands and boom creep - especially with heavier mics such as my U87. With my Neumann U87 and Royer R-121 on the dual boom, the mics do not move at all. The stand is built like a tank - it's really tough. I also bought the M1 and M2 stem adaptors. It's not cheap, but it will last you a lifetime.

[21.4 lb] It's a pretty simple product, but it works very well. I like the knurling - very comfortable and grips well.

[36 x 9 x 5.8"] I bought the K&M 210/9 Tripod Microphone Stand with Telescoping Boom to use with my Sennheiser MKE 600 without realizing the end of the mic stand was a different thread system than the 1/4" thread I was expecting. This adapter worked perfectly and allowed me to mount my Sennheiser MKE 600 onto the mic stand.

Bottom line: YES, if you need an adapter, this one works great!
