The black PortaBrace AO-633H Audio Organizer with AH-2H Harness Blackfrom PortaBrace AO-633H Audio Organizer with AH-2H Harness Blackis a large, self-contained case made for the Sound Devices 633 audio field mixer and recorder (sold separately). It can be used in several environments for applications such as Electronic News Gathering (ENG), film shoots, wedding videos, and more.

The AO-633H is designed for use with XL-2B or similar bottom-mount batteries. Extra height is designed into the case frame to accommodate for the power sources underneath the 633 mixer/recorder. The organizer bag offers plenty of storage options and also has ample room to carry wireless microphones, transmitters, batteries, cables, connectors, and other equipment (sold separately).

The main structure of this Portabrace bag is made from a hard plastic paneling covered in a padded 1000-denier Cordura nylon fabric. This combination of materials provides a ridged frame that offers protection for the user's equipment.

Both sides of the AO series bag have fully detachable side panels that allow easy access to all mixer inputs and outputs. This bag is a suitable solution for large multiple receiver situations.

Furthermore, the AH-2H Harness included with the kit is compact and works with all field audio mixers. The shoulder straps on the AH-2H are lightly padded and fully adjustable. This harness also provides metal clips that attach securely to the field mixer bag. It can be utilized for audio mixers, recorders, and also viewing monitors.

[4.5 lb] This is my new best friend and my back agreed right away. I've used the upper part of the small Portabace harness for some time and it's worked fine by itself for most jobs, but adding this belt really helps offload some of the weight from my back, especially on long days.It also keeps the bag snug to the body while running or walking. 5

[4.5 lb] For someone my size, this harness was a little big on me even with most of the straps adjusted to their tightest. Nevertheless, it has improved my stamina on set 100% and doesn't leave me with any shoulder pain after a long day. The item I received was slightly different from the one picture; it was entirely black and did not come with that little pouch on the side. Still, I am very happy with what I got. Only complaint is the carabiners are pretty cheap. 5

[Black] This harness is much better than the shoulder strap that comes with most porta brace audio organizers. It puts your mixer in front of you and distributes the weight more evenly on your center of gravity...especially if you use the belt with the harness. 5

[4.5 lb] For the sound mixer/boom op who has a bad back (like me), or who wants to make sure not to develop one, this harness is a godsend. Nearly all the weight of your gear gets transferred to your hips, where it belongs, leaving your back and shoulders burden-free. It takes a while to configure it properly for your particular body, but as soon as you get it all 'dialed in', you'll be amazed how light your gear sudeenly becomes. Your equipment also becomes easier to use, since your audio bag is centered on your abdomen, instead of off to one side. No more fighting with that old shoulder strap when you need to get to your controls! And if you need to run n' gun, your bag doesn't bounce or flop around. It's fantastic. My only major complaint is that the included carabiners are absolutely horrible, truly the worst I've ever seen. Three of the six broke within the first day of use. It's almost comical that Porta Brace would consider these acceptable, given the company's otherwise high quality standards, and considering that good carabiners are so inexpensive. When you get your harness, go straight to the hardware store, spend the spare change in your pocket on six good carabiners, and you'll be all set. Just throw the included ones away; they're useless. Carabiners aside, the harness itself is awesome. 5
