The Heliopan 43mm UV-IR Cut Filter for Digital Camerashas been specifically designed for use with digital cameras and blocks UV and infrared radiation in order to achieve greater color separation and more accurate color reproduction. By passing only the visible spectrum, digital capture is more accurate when photographing in artificial lighting conditions.

The front and rear surfaces of the filter both feature a single anti-reflection coating. Each coating helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, they offer protection to the filter substrate while helping to keep the glass clean for longer than uncoated glass.

This Heliopan filter is constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. It features a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

[Brass] Less expensive then Hoya, but do the same job. Blackmagic Pocket 6k mostly suffers ir pollution. Ice ir cut eliminate it. On hard ND stops gives little green tint, that can be changed in postproduction.

[IR/UV Control] I used this product for shooting casual shots at a wedding; I must say that I have been pleased with the outcome. Photos were accurate is color as well as sharp. Post processing time was greatly reduced. Well worth the expense in my opinion.

[Glass] I have had all Nikon filters -- usually just glass to save the lens surface -- some for UV, some for polarization. I do most of my work around or on the ocean and so I thought I would try one of the UV/IR Digital filters by Heliopan. I will be getting more of these for my other lenses, all Nikon, 17-55 2.8, 70-200 2.8 VR, 60 micro nikkor 2.8, and 105 micor nikkor 2.8 VR where this trial filter resides now. Expensive, but so are wasted shots or shots that need to be Photo-shopped to bring out a sky or clouds

[IR/UV Control] This cuts down IR pollution really well. It causes no color shift, especially when you're ND stacking on your lens. It's a tad bit pricey, but it's well worth the money.

[Single Coated] This product may seem expensive and the results may seem a little subltle, but this thing is worth every penney. I have tried several very high quality polarizars that worked great but they did not completely get rid of the slight haze you can get on very sunny days. (this was very annoying to me) IR blocking filters seem to be the best way to solve the problem. Excellent color sparation and NO haze! I have all Canon L lenses and would not put any less quality of a filter in front of the lens. Highly recommended, if you can afford it, if not, save up!

[Single Coated] The is the most expensive UV filter out there. But if you want a filter that won't degrade the IQ, this is it. It is the closest thing to not having a filter in front of your lens. If anything, it actually enhances IQ on hazy scenic pictures. Also, the coating just sheds water. Whenever it gets dirty, I just take it off to wash it with detergent and water. Then it dries spotlessly clean with no water spotting because it just sheds water.

[43 mm] This filter has greatly enhanced my photos of the night sky. I use a Canon EOS 6D Mark II that has a full spectrum modification and this filter helps reduce the red spectrum which makes the picture look more natural.

[Single Coated] I use this filter for landscape/nature photography. There is a nice difference in the color separation, just as claimed. Overall, a good filter, and a must have for digital photographers.
