Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be mounted on a Church wall and can it be operated more than 20ft away with extended cable?

A: That should be possible. Varizoom has both 50 and 100 foot extensions cables that are compatible with this system. 50 Feet: https://bhpho.to/2Jc1iDl 100 Feet: https://bhpho.to/2vFSbHT

Q: 2. Will this unit work a Nikon D780?

A: It will not. This gimbal cannot handle a DSLR the size of the D780

Q: 3. Can this unit be adapter to a wireless controller or is there a next step up that would not brak the bank?

A: I would think that it would take quite a bit of work to make it work wirelessly. There are 2 cables that it uses. One for the pan motor & the other for the tilt motor. They send a varying voltage to the motors to control the speed they move the cameras.

Q: 4. What is a good case to store the Moza Mini-P?

A: The Moza Mini-P comes with an EPP Bag. There is no dedicated bag for the Moza Mini-P but sling bags seem to be a good option.

Q: 5. Will this work with the Go Pro Hero 10?

A: Although there is no control listed with the GoPro Hero 10, a GoPro Hero 10 can be mounted to the camera carriage of the Moza Mini P gimbal with a tripod adapter. Example is Revo Tripod Adapter with 1/4"-20 for GoPro B&H # RETPMGP MFR # AC-TM. https://bhpho.to/3mTWMyF

Q: 6. Will this work with the Sony ZV-E10?

A: Yes, the Moza Mini-P Gimbal will work with the Sony ZV-E10.

Q: 7. Will this be compatible with canon powershot sx740hs and/or Fujifilm X-E3 with a small prime?

A: This gimbal has a payload of 2lb. A Canon Powershot camera should work well on this gimbal however a Fujifilm X-E3 is pushing it to the limit. Depending on the lens that you intend to use it is very easy to reach or overshoot the 2lb limitation. Not to mention that the X-E3 is physically larger than most point and shoot cameras which will make it more challenging to balance on this gimbal as it is designed with smaller cameras in mind.

Q: 8. Will this work well with smartphone that has an ultra wide lens like the newest iPhone? It looks like the motor will not be frame because it’s to the side but I wanted to confirm this.

A: While you will be able to mount a Smartphone to this gimbal and balance it, the new ultra wide lenses on some smart phones are so wide that they show the gimbal in the shot.

Q: 9. Is there a replacement power cord that can be purchased ?

A: We do not currently carry a power cord that may be purchased separately for this product at this time.

Q: 10. How do you control the Panasonic ZS-100 with the gimbal controls? I understand any gimbal will balance the camera that meets the weight requirements.

A: The gimbal does not provide camera control.

[1.3] We use the electrol screens almost exclusively in close to a 100 locations. They are versatile and durable.

[1.3] We use the screen in our church sanctuary once or twice a month. Installing it was an adventure with the weight and length, but several sections of scaffolding and a couple friends made the install move along nicely. The instructions for wiring were right on and it worked first try! The image is right on and visible the entire length of our viewing area (over 100').

[Yes] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. Pro service for pro contractors.

[Yes] We installed this in a rehabbed church space that's now a contemporary art gallery flush mounted it to an exposed beam and it looks and works great. That said, it's only been about a week, so maybe I'll report back later if I have any complaints! I was surprised that, for its length, there are only 2 mounting holes on either end, so I fear that it may sag over time. But again, too soon to tell. Where it does mount in those 2 places, it's on a solid plastic end cap/brace, so it seems like it will hold up well. It weighs about 85 pounds, so we had 3 people to install. We had to go about 17 feet up to the beam, we leveled, marked and pre-drilled & drove lag bolts into the beam and then used two extension ladders on either side to climb and carefully slide the projection screen/case up on the ladder's rails. Our 3rd person was on a 10ft ladder in the middle and was there as a spotter for extra support. It was then quite easy to hook it on to the lag bolts once we slid it to the top. All in all, it's an easy install, we opened the box and had the job done in less than 4 hours. Just be sure you have the wiring supplies and the proper mounting hardware and you'll have no problem!

[16:10] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use.
