Q: 5. does the guaranty covers/applies to mexico?

A: As long as the purchase was from B&H, it applies. However any warranty work will have to be performed by MAC Group in New York.

Q: 6. Has anybody seen a lit of the various flash durations for these? I know they report 1/800th at full power, but what are the flash durations at, say, 1/2, or 1/16th? I can't find anything like this listed anywhere. I'm considering the new HS transmitter, and these durations are going to be important.

A: Hi,There is no published flash duration data for lower settings. Generally, theFastest flash duration is always at full flash power for our units, and it gets slower when you decrease flash power. The reason is that by reducing the flash power you also decrease the capacitor voltage and lower voltage will give a longer, slower flash duration. This rule does not apply for ELC units as they are using a different technology.A global rule at minimum power the flash duration will be around 40% slower.I hope this helps.Regards,Will HBrand Manager Lighting, MAC Group US

Q: 9. Is there a portable power pack to go with the D-Lite RX 4? I can't find one anywhere. I'd like to take it outdoors for Senior sessions.

Q: 10. Does the modeling light stay on during flash? I'm hoping to use this at low power with a large aperture...

A: You can set the modeling lamp on the D-Lite RX4 to stay on while the flash fires.

[1.1] We use the screen in our church sanctuary once or twice a month. Installing it was an adventure with the weight and length, but several sections of scaffolding and a couple friends made the install move along nicely. The instructions for wiring were right on and it worked first try! The image is right on and visible the entire length of our viewing area (over 100').

[170 degrees] I installed in my living room in between ceiling joists. It works great. I use it with a Panasonic HD projector. It impresses everyone who walks in the room. Has a clean appearance when retracted. Note: it didn't come with a 12v trigger as both the B&H customer service rep and myself thought it did. We both misunderstood the description (it's optional.) The part was available at Da-Lite for $80 and came with no instructions. I got it to work after a few emails and chats with da-lite. Also, I ended up placing some holes in the top of the case to mount using 8 Lag bolts into the 2nd story floor structure. All the hardware that comes with it assumes you will have access to hang it from the top which requires access via the side while it's in it's final position. I was putting it in a hole the size of the case in my finished ceiling so that method would not work ( I would have had to remove and re-install a lot of drywall). I knew this before I purchased by reading the installation instructions so no worries just a fact and maybe a consideration for future changes to the case or just the directions.

[Front] This screen was installed in a small conference room with an NEC projector. The screen can be wall or ceiling mounted, and this flexibility came in handy when we had to switch to a ceiling mount at the last moment. The screen presents very well, and is unobtrusive when retracted. The tensioning system works nicely, and we didn't have to change any of the factory settings for the drop. I would have liked to see some additional mounting holes for attaching the screen to studs in the wall, so the installer has more options for wall mounting.

[16:9] This Screen was easy to install. It took 3 people and 2 ladders to get the job done. The remote is really not needed but i opted to install it as well. The motor runs really smooth. The screen is nice and wide. A really good buy.
