Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a portable power pack to go with the D-Lite RX 4? I can't find one anywhere. I'd like to take it outdoors for Senior sessions.

A: No, it uses mains power - for outdoors you would probably need a generator.Alternatively use something like an elinchrom ranger quadra system

Q: 2. Can the motor be powered by DTAP to USB C?

A: Yes, the SmallRig Wireless Follow Focus Lite Kit can use a D-Tap to USB-C as long as it has PD power.

Q: 3. Will it take a 9mm shaft? (Hate to be picky.)

A: The Manfrotto 026 Lite-Tite Swivel Umbrella Adapter will only accept an umbrella shaft up to 8mm.

Q: 4. Does this work with the hot shoe on Fujifilm X-T2?

A: The El-skyports are pretty universal. I've used them with my 5D and my Panasonic G7 without problem.

Q: 5. does the guaranty covers/applies to mexico?

A: As long as the purchase was from B&H, it applies. However any warranty work will have to be performed by MAC Group in New York.

Q: 6. Will these flashes work on the Panasonic GH5?

Q: 7. Hi dear B&H friends. It comes for Sony Multi Interface Shoe, ie. A7, A7II, A7III, A60...? -Sergio- from PR

Q: 8. Does it also work with the Rotolight Elinchrom Skyport EL transmitter? (So not the Plus model) I'like to use it with Rotolights.

Q: 9. could I trigger D-Lite with flash slave trigger or as slave ? and what the x-sync speed when as slave ? thanks

A: You can set up the strobes as slaves individually or together with a sinc cable, remote or on camera flash. I believe the x sinc should be based on the flash sinc on your camera. The elinchrom web site has manuals on the d-lite 4 strobe. The optional hs trigger works great . You can control each and all strobes and use high shutter speeds.

Q: 10. Can you tell me which softbox is compatible with Elinchrom D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 Flash Head?

A: You may use a softbox such as the Elinchrom Rotalux Deep Octabox (100cm / 39"), BH # EL26648 along with a speed ring to attach it such as the Elinchrom Rotalux Speed Ring for Elinchrom Flash Heads, BH # EL26570. https://bhpho.to/3XZVRNP https://bhpho.to/3XzSKwp

[16:9] We use the screen in our church sanctuary once or twice a month. Installing it was an adventure with the weight and length, but several sections of scaffolding and a couple friends made the install move along nicely. The instructions for wiring were right on and it worked first try! The image is right on and visible the entire length of our viewing area (over 100').

[1.3] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price.

[1.3] This Screen was easy to install. It took 3 people and 2 ladders to get the job done. The remote is really not needed but i opted to install it as well. The motor runs really smooth. The screen is nice and wide. A really good buy.

[Yes] We installed this in a rehabbed church space that's now a contemporary art gallery flush mounted it to an exposed beam and it looks and works great. That said, it's only been about a week, so maybe I'll report back later if I have any complaints! I was surprised that, for its length, there are only 2 mounting holes on either end, so I fear that it may sag over time. But again, too soon to tell. Where it does mount in those 2 places, it's on a solid plastic end cap/brace, so it seems like it will hold up well. It weighs about 85 pounds, so we had 3 people to install. We had to go about 17 feet up to the beam, we leveled, marked and pre-drilled & drove lag bolts into the beam and then used two extension ladders on either side to climb and carefully slide the projector up on the ladder's rails. Our 3rd person was on a 10ft ladder in the middle and was there as a spotter for extra support. It was then quite easy to hook it on to the lag bolts once we slid it to the top. All in all, it's an easy install, we opened the box and had the job done in less than 4 hours. Just be sure you have the wiring supplies and the proper mounting hardware and you'll have no problem!

[16:9] After correspondence with B&H on product lines and availability , I selected the cinema contour to marry up with the projector specifications that were needed. It also worked well with the acoustic demands of the in wall speakers hidden behind it . The result was spot on. Excellent price coupled with exceptional performance. B&H got the job done. Pro service for pro contractors.
