[Yes] I do many location interviews for my client and I have been lusting after battery powered LEDs. I was a tad nervous about the Dracast brand but my experience with the lights has been very good. The most recent was an interview with two subjects against a green screen. Two lights lit the screen and a single light with the Chimera did a great job covering both subjects. All three were on battery power, making setup very easy.

[30 W ] Some of the best built LED's I've worked with. The dimmer and color knobs are smooth. The metal body is a great touch. They have a really nice output as well. Paired with the Dracast Gold Mount batteries these guys are easy to use on set in any situation and if you're using gold mount batteries for cameras/monitors etc. it's always helpful to have a few more around. I think the only thing I don't like is the way the yolk attached to the light with these weird teeth, but I think that's something I'll just get used to. They do keep the light snug and in the correct position so I can't complain too much. May buy more to keep in the studio all the time

[3200 to 5600K] I am SO happy with these. Beautiful color transition, zero flickering, and these things are BRIGHT. I can't wait to add a second set to my studio.

[3200 to 5600K] The amount of light output produced from this kit is worth the rather hefty price tag. It's not just powerful, it's also very color accurate, and quite comparable to the quality of Litepanels lights. Because this is a dual color kit, there's a seemingly endless mix of color temperature permutations for the effects you're looking for, without even needing gels. The light stands that come with the kits are above par and don't easily scratch or dent. All in all, this kit is a worthy investment.

[45°] I have been looking to upgarde my lights (which were only busted up tungsten lights held together by paper clips) and this seemed like a great next step. I wouldn't say it's stronger than my tungstens but it is plenty bright. I like the color and it's adjustability and the dimmer option is a definite plus. It mixes very well with my tungstens now and I would like to get another one when funds prove sufficient. It's a winner!

[30 W ] Just took these lights plus two more LED500 Bi-Color on a small location shoot with green screen. I could not have been more impressed with these lights! Our talent was equally impressed and we looked like industry giants. Dialing in intensity and color temp is a breeze. Our screen was so easily lit and our talent has never looked more natural. In my opinion these lights are worth their weight in gold. Go Dracast! And as a huge bonus - the gear bags and tripods that match up with the lights are outstanding! Plus! Not done yet... zero heat and never tripped a breaker.

[Yes] I am a videographer who does documentary style productions. I have been looking for a portable and lightweight LED light that doesn't get hot, but puts out a lot of light. I researched a lot of products until I found this one. It works with Anton Bauer compatible batteries, which was a plus for me.I was really impressed with the color accuracy of this light. The color that's reproduced is in line with the ideal color for any particular setting. Because it's a Tungsten model, it produces a beautiful, evenly distributed light. This is a good quality product. No matter how long I use it, there's a consistent color temperature, meaning no dip in color and no flickering. It also doesn't overheat. I would definitely recommend this light to others. It's extremely lightweight, sturdy, and comes with a convenient carrying case.

[3200 to 5600K] I needed a 4 light kit to use either in studio and field production. I found this kit Perfect for my needs. Lightweight and sturdy (very important if you need to carry them around) You can shift and blend color temperatures and intensity as needed (no flickering!!!)

[3200 to 5600K] This is a complete kit. Multiple Battery options, DMX Controls, variable power and color (blending 3200K - 5500K led's) - This is the premium version of the Dracast light. No plastic, solid construction, high CRI value LED's. The PROs - PLENTY of light. this 3 light kit replaces an older ARRI kit. in fact - low (Soft) light applications will require a modifier in close settings. All components are Grade A. Only problem is dimming at the lowest end of the scale (1-3 of 100 range) - where lights can turn off. LOW heat, great to bounce off ceilings / cards for general / fill lighting. Cases are really nice. CONS: More expensive, I didn't review the options and as a result overpaid for a DMX feature I don't need / can't use. ( should have picked the version without DMX for my application) Would have been ideal if it integrated a wireless control (when they are high on booms it's hard to adjust).
