The conditioner filters your AC power for maximum electronic performance and provides remote power, energy, and network management from any web enabled device. The M4000-PRO reduces equipment issues as well as excess energy consumption with scheduled on/off commands. There is Protect-or-Disconnect protection for safeguarding your equipment from harmful surges, and visibility on energy usage with cloud-based monitoring and tracking. A: No, the front panel is made from a 19 wide piece of metal. The rack ears are not removable.

Q: 3. Can I plug a ups unit into this 8 outlet Furman? i heard that you can only plug ups into a 2 outlet unit?

A: According to the UPS manufacturer APC, UPS should always be plugged into the wall directly.

Q: 4. Is it possible to buy the 240V version of this for the International market?

A: Unfortunately all the Furman products we carry will be compatible with 120VAC only.

Q: 5. 230v?

A: No it does not the Furman PL-8C operates at 120v

Q: 6. is this available as 240v from B & H?

A: We do not offer a 240 VAC version of this product.

A: Furman has not specified the exact dimensions of the body of the PL-PLUS C without including the rack ears.

A: No, the rear and convenience outlets on the Furman PL-PLUS DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter/Ammeter features the same surge and voltage protection.

Q: 9. Are all 8 outlets surge protected? The doc for the pst-8 says that all 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected but the document for the 8d says that 4 are linear and 4 digital without mentioning surge protection.

A: As per the manufacture all 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected.

Q: 10. Does this unit control other BlueBolt units on the network?

A: Not directly, you need to have BlueBOLT-CV1 and RS-232C cards.

[< 0.5 dB] I have done my homework on this and offers good protection. It has under and overvoltage protection. So anything over and under a certain voltage it cuts the power to protect equipment. It absorbs spikes. It can turn a spike of 5000v in to just letting through 40v. None of the mov surge protectors can do that or even come close. After my last surge protector from another popular brand did nothing to prevent a desktop and modem to get fried I went to this. Very nice built quality and a great price at that. I am much more at ease with this knowing it should protect my equipment from everything other than a very near or direct lighting strike. No consumer grade stuff will protect you from a strike like that. 5

[RJ-45 CAT 5e] We have never had a failure on amplifiers or processors since starting to use the Furman many years ago. The PL-8C is a standard part of all our systems. 5

[200 VAC] Arrived double boxed in perfect condition. It's the best rated power conditioner I've been able to find and enough power at 15 amps to run a Threadripper Pro Workstation rig. I use a Furman AC 215A on my FV43U monitor and a small integrated amp for sound. 5
