Q: 3. I used Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper (13 x 19 , 25 Sheets) and it was an amazing paper. Now I need to print my photographs larger with the same paper and quality, and I would like to know What is the differences between that paper and this one? Or if they are the same.

A: To be honest I have only use a small amount of the sheets but have use hundreds of feet of the rolls.Im not sure if the thickness is the same but they are close. The quality of the prints are exactly the same. I use the same ICC profile for both and ive seen no difference.

Q: 4. Where can I find IIC profiles for this paper and a Epson 3880?

A: Try the Pixel Genius website. I just downloaded the free profile. Since I am not allowed to put the link here, search on Pixel Genius Epson Exhibition Fiber.

Q: 5. Should I choose the Exhibition Fibre paper profile or Epson Luster, as some have mentioned? I'm using an Epson p600 printer. Many thanks!

A: You should use the profile for the given paper if Epson has it available. Although the Exhibition Fibre Paper from Epson has been changed recently. You might want to check that with Epson.

Q: 6. Hello B&H,I am purchasing the Epson Stylus R2880 printer and wanted to know the best paper to use for it. The recommendations state to go for the epson brand for best results. The main reason I am interested in printing is for fine art purposes. I am looking for archival quality from both paper and ink. Any suggestions?Thanks,Mati

Q: 7. I assume this can be run through a Canon printer, but does anyone know how well this works? Specifically, any experience printing this paper on a Pixma PRO-100? Thanks.

A: I have a Pro-100. The prints are beautiful (I set the Luster paper in the settings).

Q: 8. I have several (admittedly old) Signature Worthy Sample Packs with this paper. However, the specifications for it seem to be different ... e.g., 95% Brightness vs. 111% Brightness. Is this the same paper? Has Epson changed its specs in the past few years for this paper?

A: Epson may have changed the brightness through the years as technology progresses. This model is 111% Brightness, as listed.

[Yes] I recently purchased the Hahnemuhle Platinum Rag Fine Art paper for a cyanotype project. It was a paper I saw being recommended for such alternative photography projects and I am very happy with the purchase. The paper is thick and heavy, perfect for cyanotype printing. The paper is expensive at $39.85 so I would recommend using cheaper paper for test prints and use the Hahnemuhle Platinum Rag for final prints. 5

[Yes] As the name implies, this is wonderful paper for platinum and palladium printing. I like that you can use either side of the paper. I've also used it for cyanotype over platinum with good results. 5

[310 gsm] Hahnemuhle is the standard for alternative printing. I use their papers for my platinum and albumen printing. If you are serious about platinum printing, this paper is a must to fully realize the full potential of your creative images. 5
