[55 lb / 24.9 kg] I used this RPMA-U mount to ceiling mount my W1070. It is very well made and came with clear and concise instructions. This mount allows the use of any length 1.5npt threaded extension pipe to get it down as low as your needs require. It also has 3 adjustment screws to adjust the Yaw, Roll and Pitch of your projector. I used it in conjunction with the Chief 24 ceiling bracket and both worked together seamlessly.

[55 lb / 24.9 kg] Initially this looked complicated, but once you get past the small text in the installation guide its pretty simple to put together and it very versatile. Once up its simple to remove the projector and main unit from the ceiling housing to adjust location. I did it 4 times to get the projector where I needed it for best alignment.. the BenQ 3550 has its lens offset from the center and so you have to adjust to compensate for that, this mount made that job easy and it looks great with plenty of room for cable run. would highly recommend.

[5.235 lb] I ordered this for a Benq LU935ST, which has a 14 mounting pattern. I originally had ordered a universal mount (which was the recommended accessory), but it only could accomodate a projector with a 12 mounting pattern maximum. This mount is solid, easy to assemble, and very adjustable so it should work with almost any projector up to its listed weight limit.


The only improvement would be if the cables could originate in the center of the mounting bracket from above. In this case they have to exit the ceiling next to the mounting bracket, and then be threaded into the pole. Still very neat and tidy, and probably works fine for 99% of applications.
