Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does each sheet print on its own, or do you have to add a backing piece of paper for inkjet printing?

A: Each sheet prints on its own and it is designed for Inkjet printers.

Q: 2. Can Epson roll Exhibition Fiber Paper be used on a 7600 printer?

A: I have an Epson 7800 printer, so I can't answer based on experience, but the 7600 looks much the same for roll paper. Have a look at the manual for the 7600. (Google epson 7600 printer manual. I would give you the link, but B&H will not permit links in these answers.) In the manual, at page 42, you will see the instructions for loading roll paper (which are very smiler to my 7800). Finally, Epsons have a reputation for being able to print on almost anything (I once heard of a Los Angelino who printed on tortillas), so I would not much worry about being able to print on ANY Epson 24 roll paper.

Q: 3. HOW IS THIS 'SUPER 'B'' PAPER DIFFERENT THEN THE REGULAR EPSON EXHIBITION FIBER PAPER YOU SELL #S045037?

A: I just checked the B&H website. S045037 is the manufacturer's number for the Super B Epson Exhibition Fiber paper.

Q: 4. I have several (admittedly old) Signature Worthy Sample Packs with this paper. However, the specifications for it seem to be different ... e.g., 95% Brightness vs. 111% Brightness. Is this the same paper? Has Epson changed its specs in the past few years for this paper?

A: Epson may have changed the brightness through the years as technology progresses. This model is 111% Brightness, as listed.

Q: 5. Is this paper completely archival?

A: Yes according to Epson it is. I've been using it for several years printing all my fine art exhibition images on it and I love the paper. The quality and consistency are fantastic.

Q: 6. Is this paper considered "archival"?

A: The Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper (17 x 22", 25 Sheets) is not listed as being acid-free archival grade paper.

Q: 7. Can this paper be used with an Epson R1900 printer? Many thanks.

A: Yes, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper can be used with the Stylus R1900.

Q: 8. Has anyone tried this paper with Epson et 8550?

A: Yes. I use Epson Print Layout for printing and I am happy with black and white prints on this paper when I use the ABW mode (media type = Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster, tone = dark). An ICC profile for color printing is available on the Epson website.

Q: 9. I thought this paper could be used with the Epson Surecolor P800?

A: This paper can be used with a Surecolor P800.

Q: 10. Where can I find IIC profiles for this paper and a Epson 3880?

A: Try the Pixel Genius website. I just downloaded the free profile. Since I am not allowed to put the link here, search on Pixel Genius Epson Exhibition Fiber.

[2.95 lb] This paper is mulberry with strips of silk (embedded) and is a specialty paper. If you have a photo that should have this special look that is particularly oriental this is a nice paper. It is lightweight, but it was processed on the Epson printer without incident.

[128%] I purchased this to print double-sided fine art tri-fold pamphlets. I tried some koala brand gloss double sided 13 x 19 paper and it was terrible and for only $10 more this oyster paper was a world better! I highly recommend it. It folded very nicely and I was able to get very color accurate prints.

[128%] Love how thick and subtly textured the paper is. Great for printing fine arts photography, the colors printed look rich and vibrant. Definitely will buy more in the future!

[Double] This paper surprised me. It copied my photographs of my pastel drawings so beautifully. The colors, contrast and the weight and texture are on point.

[Double] Brilliant paper for the right project. I printed on it (beautiful saturation and detail) and used it for the endpapers on an historic bookbinding project. Although not historically "accurate" it added the perfect amount of texture while remaining light and strong enough for the rigors of a life of opening and closing over and over. It is hard enough to find an inkjet artpaper that is light in weight. But to find one that is also strong (due to Kozo and hemp fibers) and filled with character (the larger fibers) makes this a remarkable find..

[Luster] I have been trying to find the perfect A2 glossy photo paper for months and I finally found it at BH. Thank you! I will be ordering more as soon as I finish this review.

[128%] Not for everything but an amazing art paper for the right shot...slight see through, almost vellum feel with tons of texture....

[Luster] I didn't think I would love the cooler tones as much as I do but it is absolutely perfect for black and white!

[2.95 lb] I'll leave the science to someone else, let's talk intantangibles. Agave has a feel, texture and tonality that lens itself to toned B&W imagery. For me it's that beautiful, subtle, thiourea toner look we strived for in wet prints. On an image with lots of lighter tones, on Agave, we can add just a little highlight warming in post, leaving the blacks alone and get these stunning warm prints, with this beautiful paper texture that creeps through those areas with little to no image detail.

[Yes] I tested all three natural fiber matte papers.

I thought Agave had the widest dynamic range, produced a whiter white, and had this really random and natural texture. It is a superb paper.
