The black, rack mountable Benchmark AHB2 High-Resolution Power Amplifier Black Rack Mountfrom Benchmark AHB2 High-Resolution Power Amplifier Black Rack Mountis designed to accurately reproduce high resolution audio. The dynamic range approaches 130 dB, and the frequency response extends below 0.1 Hz and beyond 200 kHz. When reproducing high-resolution 24-bit PCM and 1-bit DSD digital audio formats, this amplifier allows you to hear nuances and dynamics which get lost when using amplifiers with lower dynamic ranges.

The AHB2 has bi-polar class-AB output stage that delivers high output current and low noise. The THX patented feed-forward error correction provides accurate cancellation of zero-crossing errors. In addition, the AHB2 uses a resonant switching power supply with a fast control loop so mechanical hum is eliminated while magnetic field strength is reduced.

[20 kΩ] I purchased this headphone amplifier for my recording studio use. I used Personus HP60 and Behringer HA8000. Both supplied insufficient power to the headphones when musicians play their instruments. This ART amplifier drives Beyerdynamic DT-880-pro-250 well. Knob layouts are well thought and the amplifier can be tweaked �without requiring too much attentions. The circuit diagram, which is printed on the top of the unit, gives a great help. 5

[-0.3 to 30 VDC] The Benchmark AHB2 is the cleanest sounding amp I have owned across 35 years including amplifiers that cost 5X the AHB2. It only provides perfectly clean volume and nothing else. At this power output there is nothing that compares. B&H provided great service getting it to me safely. 5

[20 kΩ] i bought this piece of power control gear to control my music studio from my desk, and it was replacing an ADJ unit of similar build. this one comes with an outlet on the front and two USB charging ports which makes it more convenient than the already great ADJ unit. would highly recommend, and the blue is really easy on the eyes :) 5
