Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a Panasonic HC-X1000 4K video camera. Will this fit inside the Arco 10 bag with the grey padding included, or do I need the larger Arco 20 bag?

A: The 10 would be a bit too small. We do recommend the 20 for the Panasonic camera. You can just adjust the size on the product page or follow the link here: https://bhpho.to/2FbEt0p

Q: 2. Will this work with a Panasonic DMC-FZ-1000?

A: Yes

Q: 3. Q about the height of Bag-10: I have a sony a7s with a mounted shotgun which I'd like to place in the bag without taking apart. The height of the cam+mic together is 7.1 inches. I guess that with the doctor-type top opening gives an extra space, but I just want to make sure. The spec say the internal height is 7 . Can it fit (with some extra space)?

A: Yes the bag is actually oversized.

Q: 4. Would a Canon XA-40 with a shotgun attached fit directly in this bag?

A: The XA40 is already right at the 11" mark without a shotgun attached. More than likely you will have to remove the top handle and an shotgun microphone for it to fit. Your better bet is the Dr Bag 20 which accommodates up to 16.5 inches in length. https://bhpho.to/3ddpAvP

Q: 5. I would like to put a Canon C100 and C300 in the bag. Would it be possible to set it in, without the handle or LCD screen stopping it from closing?

A: The C100 and C300, with top handles are 11.1 tall. The only Arco bag that is tall enough is the Arco Video Dr. Bag 40. It's interior dimensions are 23 x 11 x 11 (58.4 x 27.9 x 27.9 cm) so it is a tight fit but should work.

Q: 6. Will this rig work on a Nikon DSLR using a 24-70 mm lens?

A: Yes. I am using a Canon 6D with a 24-70L series lens.

Q: 7. Is this good for an ursa mini 4K? And will it fit into the overhead bin of an airplane?

A: I'm not sure about the urse mini 4K but it works great for a large shoulder mount camera that is pretty big. And fits in the overhead bin of the plane too.

Q: 8. I noticed the shoulder strap is attached to opposite corners as opposed to just the sides. Does this make it awkward to carry? Generally I carry my bag on my left side.

A: It is actually a good thing by the way it helps it to hug the body.

Q: 9. How wide is the 36" cinch strap?

A: The 36'' cinch strap in the Platypod New! Multi Accessory Kit is 1.49'' wide.

Q: 10. Will this rig work with Sony Alpha 6500?

A: We see no reason it will not. If you have further questions, please email us. provideo@bhphoto.com.

[New Riders] Scott Kelby does an excellent job in presenting the material in a work flow process format after he gives a brief introduction to the books flow. I am new to Lightroom 6 and am using a PC. After reading the first chapter and looking at the table of contents, I jumped right in and made edits to my first .nef photo. I am certain that I have much to learn and will follow up on reading the book in its entirety.

[336] As someone who learned much of his After Effects skills from free tutorials on Video Copilot, I was more than happy to purchase the Element 3D bundle once I saw its capabilities. You do need to know After Effects and some level of 3D object orientation/texturing/animation to really utilize this, but the learning curve is nice without having to model things from scratch. If you have experimented with different plugins for AE and know how to use sliders & values to hash out a look, then this is certainly a product you can benefit from.

[336] I am just getting back in to After Effects hot and heavy. Since Zaxwerks apparently shut down the past few years (taking with it ProAnimator, Invigorator, etc.) I needed to search for an alternative mostly for 3D Text and Logos. That led me to Element 3D. I have only been working with it a couple days so far, but it has everything and more that I was hoping for! Great software!

[336] I was a newspaper photographer in 70's and 80's got out when digital was coming in. I recently went back to work for a newspaper and this book has really helped get me back up to speed. I still have aways to go, but i will take this book every step of the way.
