Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the QuickLoc QL-400 work with the PreSonus StudioLive AR16 USB 18-Channel Hybrid Performance and Recording Mixer?

A: Yes the PreSonus should fit fine as it's adjustable to widen for larger boards. I use with an Allen & Heath 14 channel board and works fine for my purpose.

Q: 2. laptoy tray is 10 wide? How is it going hold laptops that are usually 15 wide?

A: The laptop will stick out over the tray, however, the rubber coated arms are 4 long and can articulate to just about any direction. I use the bottom 2 at about 40 degree angles to slip over the top of my laptop and secure it from sliding down, left or right. The top 2 arms may not fit at the top of your laptop depending on space under screen. However, I use them on the upper sides and tighten them well. They have held my laptops just fine.

Q: 3. Can anyone please tell me what the base spread of this stand? The Auray tray has a 26" (66 cm) spread. I'm guessing the wider the spread the more sturdy.

A: Between 19 and 22 inches.

Q: 4. how much weight does it support?

A: Supports Laptops & Devices up to 33 lb

Q: 5. Will the MPC Live unit be secure on this stand during use?

A: This stand can be used with the MPC Live music production center. I would consider affixing it to the stand with Velcro, or a similar product, for additional security.

Q: 6. Would this stand be acceptable for on location shooting? I need something portable and sturdy.

A: We have been using a bunch of these with no issues, a little clunky to carry around, but sturdy and lightweight wins. I actually have 8 of these in the studio now for various laptops and controllers

Q: 7. What material(s) is the stand made from?

A: Ths is made of metal.

Q: 8. What is the weight capacity?

A: The manufacturer has not specified a weight capacity but has noted that the stand can accommodate any size laptop computer. For an estimate, a large laptop with a 17" screen can weigh up to approximately 8 pounds, so it would be safe to say that the LPH-004 can accommodate a laptop that weighs up to 8 pounds.

Q: 9. What is the minimum and maximum depth of the second tier?

A: I use the second tier for my Korg Krome which is 12 1/2 deep. The whole tier itself is 16 deep. The stand as a whole is fairly steady - not quite as sturdy as my last Z-stand but much better than any X-stands of which I am not a fan. I highly recommend this stand. It Laizzes les bon temps rouler!

Q: 10. What is the length when its fold up, would it fit in a suitcase that is 29 in height? Does it come with a sleeve to put tripod in?

A: When closed down to it's smallest size, the length is 34.5 , which includes the folded table and legs. The table size is 15.75 X12.75 . The table could be removed from the pole, but it's more trouble than it's worth. I leave it assembled. No bag or sleeve is provided.

[8.5 lb] I'm extremely pleased with this stand. Guitars are held in a position where no need to worry about falling. Set-up was pretty straight-forward and easy. I am definitely pleased with this purchase. B&H Photo had the very best price on it, also. I did have to wait to receive it as it was on backorder, but B&H photo upgraded to 2 day shipping at no extra cost to me when they recieved more of these. I don't know that I will ever need another as this is solidly built, but if so, will definitely order from B&H again.

[30 x 30 x 5"] This is an absolutely superb stand, especially for this price. It is compact, lightweight, very solidly built and stable. It folds nicely and the locking mechanism is sturdy. It should last a lifetime of home use but I expect it to last a long time for touring musicians as well.

[30 x 30 x 5"] I've had one of these stands for about 3 years and is my main gigging stand. Solid! Holds fender p and jazz basses solidly and straighter than other stands letting me place it closer to the amp and out of the way. Just bought 3 more of these little buggers for around the practice space and our lead guitarist just bought 2 himself (mainly a les paul player).

[8.5 lb] I did a lot of research on stands. I like the Hercules single guitar stand for when I am handling the guitar (playing and putting the guitar down). The Quik-Loc is perfect for getting the guitars against the wall and out of harms way. The supports ensure that the instruments do not bang against each other (better than any others I researched). The product is sturdy and the dimensions are compact. Exactly what I was looking for.

[30 x 30 x 5"] The simplicity of this stand makes it my favorite.. with a guitar on it, it's solid, but still easy to move with one hand, by grabbing the neck where it meets the stand (thumb around neck, fingers around stand). You can arrange 2 or more close together too, if you need quick access to multiple guitars. Guitars sit solidly on it. Minimal size when traveling, easy to set up, no parts to fall off or swing about in an unwieldy manner. I have 5 of them.

[8.5 lb] I'm a college student, and I do not have much space at my trailer that I rent, so this guitar stand fits perfectly in a small space. The greatest thing is that it holds my three most precious guitars - - - my bass, my electric guitar, and my banjo. The only way this stand could get any better is to have more slots!!! But I think there is one that already holds more guitars. Way to go Quik Lok!!! Thanks for making my college life alittle easier.

[8.5 lb] It is very simple to set up as it is preassembled in the box. It does take a little getting used to how to set the guitars in it. But it does appear to be very stable and well constructed
