Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the laptop table itself be unscrewed and mounted to a camera tripod?

A: No. The vertical tube is physically welded to a custom tilt mount which is fixed to the laptop table portion. The stand tripod does fold up. So it could be taken in your car if you wanted your laptop somewhere for a photo shoot. I'll take my stand out back and work on the patio in the summer. It's a great stand though. Very sturdy with solid locking joints. We like the stand so much we bought a second one just recently.

Q: 2. Can anyone please tell me what the base spread of this stand? The Auray tray has a 26" (66 cm) spread. I'm guessing the wider the spread the more sturdy.

A: Between 19 and 22 inches.

Q: 3. How much weight can this slider carry?

A: i used with 10 pounds and is so good

Q: 4. Is this the suggested stand for the Korg ms20 mini?

A: It's one of several stands that are recommended. You might want to have a look at B&H# ONKS8291XX. It's very sturdy.

Q: 5. Would this stand be acceptable for on location shooting? I need something portable and sturdy.

A: We have been using a bunch of these with no issues, a little clunky to carry around, but sturdy and lightweight wins. I actually have 8 of these in the studio now for various laptops and controllers

Q: 6. What is the weight capacity?

A: The manufacturer has not specified a weight capacity but has noted that the stand can accommodate any size laptop computer. For an estimate, a large laptop with a 17" screen can weigh up to approximately 8 pounds, so it would be safe to say that the LPH-004 can accommodate a laptop that weighs up to 8 pounds.

Q: 7. What is the length when its fold up, would it fit in a suitcase that is 29 in height? Does it come with a sleeve to put tripod in?

A: When closed down to it's smallest size, the length is 34.5 , which includes the folded table and legs. The table size is 15.75 X12.75 . The table could be removed from the pole, but it's more trouble than it's worth. I leave it assembled. No bag or sleeve is provided.

Q: 8. Can it be adjusted high enough for playing while standing ?

A: This keyboard stand is meant for playing while sitting or standing. Height adjustments range from 26.3" (67 cm) to 33.4" (85 cm.)

Q: 9. Does the QuickLoc QL-400 work with the PreSonus StudioLive AR16 USB 18-Channel Hybrid Performance and Recording Mixer?

A: Yes the PreSonus should fit fine as it's adjustable to widen for larger boards. I use with an Allen & Heath 14 channel board and works fine for my purpose.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Korg Minilogue XD?

A: Technically, this stand should fitt he Minilogue XD. Just note that since the stand would be set to a small width, the stand may not be as stable as when set to a larger width.

I have an X-Frame but couldn't use anymore it since I've added a bass pedal unit to my setup. This works great for my needs. It looks a lot uncluttered and puts people's focus on the keyboards not the hardware. It is also sturdier than my X. I do get a little wobble on the top tier but does only does if I push down on the back side of the keyboard. While playing, the keyboard stays put. Same is true for my X anyway. Set-up does require more time than the X but I bought this unit as a platform for my homemade MIDI organ which will not go anywhere. If I have to take it someplace else, I estimate it would take about two minutes to break down the stand and about four minutest to put together. To achieve that timeframe, my approach would be to mark up the stand with small arrow stickers so I know exactly how to put it back together. From what it I see, the top-tier hardware don't have to be taken apart once removed from the base. The screws can just be loosened and the parts can just be folded down. Looks like after all that, the stand can be broken down into 4 pieces to carry: vertical base =2; base cross-bar=1, top-tier group=1. Just my guesstimate. I haven't actually tried it.

This is just what I was looking for. I have Kronos 61 and was having difficulty finding a stand the right width that could also hold my minilogue also. Plenty of height between keyboards, but just enough so the upper is easily accessible. All the necessary cables route on the back and nothing seems out of place. Very sturdy and no shaking when playing.

Much more stable than some other (more expensive stands). I have a heavy, full size keyboard on the bottom rack and it stays put with no wobble or rocking.

My previous X stand was rather expensive junk and it went bye-bye. The Z-726 is the real deal. Assembly was easy but the instructions did not detail where the two washers were to be fitted. I got that bit wrong and had to make a change. Still, this is a very solid beast. A 61-note ROM-pler sits on the lower tier while a Bass Station II sits on top. Lots of adjustments permitted me to make a very ergonomic workstation with all the bits 'n bobs placed exactly as I wanted them for fluidic work-flow. Delivery was the usual B&H over-the-top style and the price was the best out there. Even if your kit only needs a single synth right now, get this stand and you can install the top tier later. (Do it ... you'll thank me later!) I can't speak to long-term durability but it seems quite solid to me. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

This is a great stand if your looking for a solid 2 keyboard setup. I use a full size Yamaha keyboard for the bottom and a Akai Miniak for the top. The thing that makes this a quality product is how sturdy the stand is, and the fact that the top mount is on its own bracket and can be adjusted to any desired width. I returned 2 different stands to @ that were more expensive than this one and they did not even come close to the quality of this product. I feel confident and trust my investment on this stand.

Product is as described and my gar feels solid on it. It's a little big for my 49 key synth but I sort of knew that would be the case and I built an additional platform for the base as I wanted to make room for pedals and other modules. Highly recommend this product!

This was exactly what I needed to hold 2 of my vintage keyboards. It is a great design and feels solid once put together. Does not wiggle when playing the keyboards.
