Q: 1. I see the back panel of the box seems to have a large Square open configuration option. Can the 24" soft-box be strapped/mounted to a 1x LED LightPanel 12" Square? (Like an "Astra" or similar 1x?) Thanks! It looks like a nice, fast, flexfill-type pop-up box! It would be great to increase the surface area of a LightPanel and do it without a lot of set-up time. Nice Price Point.

A: This unit is designed for speedlights. It would not be compatible with a Astra or similar light.

Q: 2. Does this come with a stand?

A: No, a stand would be purchased separately. many good stands are listed in the accessories for this product.

Q: 3. Why do you think 2 mm is .7 inches? I suspect you mean .07 is the tube wall thickness

A: From the manufacturer. The tube wall thickness of the H2512 as well as the H2508 is 2mm.

Q: 4. can this be mounted to a tripod?

A: Exactly what I did. I had an old tripod no longer used, unscrewed the top and screwed on the box. Works great, be careful of wind.

Q: 5. Will this work with Raya Single LED/Fluorescent Lamp Holder with Umbrella Socket?

A: I'm sorry, no, it is compatible with the Raya lamp holder. This softbox is only meant to be used with a hotshoe flash with a round or rectangular head.

Q: 6. Are the ears definitely included in this?

A: Yes. The following unit does come with ears but stands and fabric sold separately.

Q: 7. It doesn't specify in "What's in the Box" that the Ears are included, Are they?

A: The ears should be included.

Q: 8. Does anybody know if you're able to use this with a Canon 600 EX-RT? The round hole worries me, but I'm also thinking maybe you have to use some sort of bracket? Please advise. Trying to buy my first softbox for use with the Canon 600 EX-RT. Thanks!

A: I use it with my 600 EX-RT and it works fine.

Q: 9. How wide is the inner velcro?

A: The inner diffuser is held in with hooks. The outer velcro is about 1/2".

A: The BH #AVH2008 weighs about 25lbs. The BH #AVH2508 weighs about 29lbs.

[Dual Vision] I have used this Da-Lite screen for the past 3+ years. This is actually my second purchase. Compared to some brands and products, the price is reasonable. The design is solid, great for portable use and easy to setup. However, it weights close to 70 pounds. A great product nonetheless. 5

[Front and rear] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price. 5

[Front and rear] We use the product for our once a year users conference and several smaller meetings through out the year. It is a robust construction and easy to put up. It produces a great rear or front projection image and looks impressive set up. The screen really sets the room up for the look of an important and high tech meeting. Since it is stored between uses, we put muslin between the folds of the screen to prevent screen damage. Because the product is larger and has more bracing than our old 9X12 fast fold screens we used to have. It comes in two boxes. It takes up more storage, which is expected with a bigger screen. B&H photo has been a good vendor providing timely shipping and good delivery updates. I will use them for future purchases. They have competitive pricing. 5

[130°] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool. 5

[130°] We are migrating from standard aspect fast fold projector screen frames (9 X 12) to widescreen frames. (8 X 14). These frames are easy to assemble. It takes only two people to to put them up. The screens are crisp and snap on with relative ease. 5

[Folding] This is the best screen we have ever used for digital demos during our software workshops. The quality is astounding and every subtle change can readily been seen by the students. We can use the screen on the stand, which is for large rooms with a high ceiling or just the screen itself for lower ceiling venues. Either way, it definitely adds value to the classroom experience! Highly recommended! 5

[16:9] There was some concern that the screen would not get here in time for an event. After contacting the customer service they assisted in getting a tracking confirmation. It arrived in the nick of time. I was surprised that the model had some features to the leg structure that we were not expecting. It made it very stable and user friendly. 5
