Q: 1. Does anyone have a suggestion on what grid will work well with this softbox with the diffuser on?

A: Raya does not make one specific for that softbox. The one below should fit but you might need to use clamps or tape to keep it attached.

Q: 2. will this work on a ulite constant light?

A: Unfortunately, this softbox is only rated for use with strobes, particular shoe mount flashes. A softbox that can be used with the Westcott uLite fixture would be the Westcott uLite 20 Square Softbox (120VAC) B&H # WESB20UL. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 3. What comes in the box? What do I need to buy separately?

A: You get the lightbox, inner/outside diffusers & S hooks, light stand mounting bracket, zippered soft case, and instruction booklet. So far, no failures; it's a decent kit.

Q: 4. Is this box compatible with an Alien Bees B800 or is it speedlight only?

A: Unfortunately, this softbox is made for use only with shoe mount flashes. A similar softbox that can be used with your Alien Bees monolights is the Impact Luxbanx Duo Medium Square Softbox (26 x 26 ) B&H # IMLBSQDM and the speed ring for it which is the Impact Speed Ring for Paul C. Buff, Balcar, Flashpoint Series 1 B&H # IMSRPCB. Please see the images below for reference.

A: Yes you can. And it is very easy to set up.

Q: 6. Does it work well with Pocketwizard FlexTT5? Does the bracket allow you to tilt?

A: Yes this can work with a Pocket Wizard TT5 attach to the cold shoe. The bracket can tilt directly on the stand mount at the bottom.

Q: 7. What is the size of the folded unit in it's case?

A: The carrying case is 12 X 7.5 X 3.5 inches

Q: 8. It doesn't specify in "What's in the Box" that the Ears are included, Are they?

A: The ears should be included.

Q: 9. Fabric and stands come with the frame? This maybe a dumb question, but I didn't read yes or no. Thanks

A: Unfortunately, the fabric and stands are sold separately.

Q: 10. Does it come with shoe mount?

A: Yes it does. It comes with an L bracket and shoe mount. One nice thing about the bracket is that it can also be used to mount an umbrella.

[0.65] This is the best screen we have ever used for digital demos during our software workshops. The quality is astounding and every subtle change can readily been seen by the students. We can use the screen on the stand, which is for large rooms with a high ceiling or just the screen itself for lower ceiling venues. Either way, it definitely adds value to the classroom experience! Highly recommended! 5

[156°] I have used this Da-Lite screen for the past 3+ years. This is actually my second purchase. Compared to some brands and products, the price is reasonable. The design is solid, great for portable use and easy to setup. However, it weights close to 70 pounds. A great product nonetheless. 5

[Folding] There was some concern that the screen would not get here in time for an event. After contacting the customer service they assisted in getting a tracking confirmation. It arrived in the nick of time. I was surprised that the model had some features to the leg structure that we were not expecting. It made it very stable and user friendly. 5

[Folding] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price. 5

[156°] This was the forth 9X12 dalite screen that we have purchased. We also have several 6X8's. We use them for PR meetings in various churches and schools around the US. Dalite screens are excellent! The newer fast fold frames are bigger and built stronger and the easy release latches work extremely well and you no longer need to fight the frame to put it together and take it apart. I often get assistance from a local person at the meeting and they are always amazed at how it all folds together and fits into the case. THe cases are much too big, I think and I have taken them and cut them down so they don't use up so much storage space. 5

[Folding] The screen functions as described. we used the additional brackets to mount the screen to a concrete wall. The mechanical parts of the screen are smooth and easy to use! 5
