[3.5 lb] Solid stand without any flex, and has a great finish which is very slightly textured paint so things don't slide around on it. Stand fits perfectly atop my Yamaha Motif 88 key keyboard. Yes It arches over, but doesn't touch the control screen and some buttons - but I'm not needing to switch settings or presets when playing piano sheet music. 5

[Aluminum] I needed this stand because I'm teaching so much on line through the CoVid-19 time. Trial and error led me to discover sitting right in front of my computer is the best position for my students to see both hands when I demonstrate passages and techniques. [Aluminum] Exactly what I needed. I was getting used to practicing guitar with my music sitting on a chair while hunching over it. Now I can practice my instrument using proper posture without having a lot of apparatus taking up space. 5
