Q: 5. Is there any place to put in a sweater and a cap along with the gear in the anvil ?

A: The Anvil 27 has a roomy outer zippered pocket that extends nearly the full length of the backpack that can be used to store a sweater or a light jacket. You could also stuff a cap, gloves, etc in there as well.A cap with an adjustable strap that comes apart could be attached to the top handle (assuming you are not carrying a tripod that is attached to the back of the pack - I attach mine to the side using a lens case on the bottom attached to the lower side strap and some custom straps I made to hold the tripod at the top, for better weight distribution.Answered by Dennis H. [Polyester] It's comfortable and convenient to have. The belt came naked, will need accessories, hangers (pouch, container etc.) on the belt to work.
Thanks for bringing good products and services, go B&H!

[Polyester] Works great to hook up things to it. Standard molle also easy to put a peak design clip to it. It is wider than expected however and this is the slim model. I bet the normal one is probably the size of those belt movers use for their back

[0.8 lb] I have a camera bag, but I bought this one because the price was $79. So I couldn't help buying it.

Another reason I bought this bag was that it wasn't big, but
I liked the sturdy waist belt and space for the laptop.
It has enough space to carry my camera equipment.

[Black] Had recently purchased an Anil 23 from B & H for a great price when this one went on sale. Just a tad smaller but still lots of room, and lighter for longer outings. Zipper pulls are handy when wearing gloves also. Thanks again B & H!!

[Polyester] I love this backpack. Initially I'd used another, somewhat smaller Tamrac backpack with my mirrorless system. But that one was rear entry and I couldn't get used to it. This one is very secure, even working around New York City. The case itself, padding and zippers all feel substantial and I expect it to last for years like my first backpack (a Tamrac roller which was great for the camcorder system but more than was needed for lighter gear). While the retail price makes this a good value, the AS11 happened to come up on sale, icing on the cake.

[0.8 lb] This is an update to a review I did in 2020 when I bought the backpack. I actually started having problems with the interior plastic zippered pockets about six months afterI got the backpack. The plastic started to fall apart and continually got worse. I just recently contacted TAMRAC support to put in a warranty claim. TAMRAC was great! They immediately took responsibility for the issue. They told me that for a short period of time they used an eco-friendly material for the pockets which resulted in complaints about failure of the plastic pockets. They verified that the eco-friendly material they used was not performing as they expected and had hoped, so they stopped using that material and have since used a different material that has fixed the problem. TAMRAC was responsive and prompt in dealing with my claim. They sent me a replacement for the backpack (the same Anvil 11 model) ----- no charge. They didn't ask me to pay for shipping. They took responsibility. TAMRAC made a mistake that any company could have made; they used a eco-friendly material that failed ---- and they stopped using that material. The current Anvil 11 backpacks don't have that problem anymore. I am still giving TAMRAC five stars because they proved to be a responsible company that honored their warranty. I own two other TAMRAC products and they have had NO problems.
