[0.81 lb] Although I haven't tried it yet, I have used my iPhone at the eyepiece to take lunar photos. So, I wanted something to use to steady the image. I was concerned about the hookup with the eyepieces. I got my 32 Plossl eyepiece out and took the eyecup off. Place the ocular end of the eyepiece against the interface and lightly tighten the keeper threaded end piece. Works perfect. I am not fearing the eyepiece disengaging from the Fonemate . Good product. You must use Televue eyepieces compatible with Dioptrx design. That would be the only downside. Since I have many of these eyepieces actually the hookup between Fonemate and eyepiece is better I think than other designs. 5

[0.81 lb] Easily centers the camera lens and the attachment to the eyepiece is quick and secure. I use TeleVue eyepieces on a 10 dob. Live view and remote release using an Apple Watch help improve the image. Moon shots taken with iPhone 7 5

[0.81 lb] The FoneMate is far and above other phone adapters I've tried. I have a large cell phone with an even larger OtterBox Defender case on it, and fits very well. My very first image with an 8 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope was impressive for a cell phone photo. I imaged Jupiter while it was only about 28 degrees above the horizon, so the seeing (atmospheric turbulence) was dreadful, but still managed to get some detail. See attached image. 5
