Q: 1. Does the adapter have its own diaphragm blades for aperture control, or does it somehow actuate the G lenses aperture blades?

A: It actuates the G lens aperture blades when you twist the blue ring. You are however guessing as to the actual aperture on a G lens. On non G lenses, if you set the aperture to, say f8, when you twist the ring it goes from wide open to the chosen aperture, in this case f8. This is the same for the F sense to Sony FE lens adapters as well. I use the adapter mostly to use a non-G Nikon 85 f1.4 on the SL

A: The Leica Premium Hybrid Glass Display Protection for Leica SL2, BH # LEPHBGSP3 fits the SL2 and SL2-S, but is slightly different compared to the protector for the M10 and Q2.

[4.45 x 3 x 0.7"] I’m not sure if it’s worth 4X as much as the usual brands but if you are a Leica user I guess the Leica user market is limited and you are paying the premium that Leica users are accustomed to. I have never had problems with K&F or 7Artisan or any brand like the other reviews mentioned (K&F not showing this configuration yet) But ultimately it is very good and if you paid $16,000 for the VM mount Leica lens this is just a necessary accessory and seems like an insignificant cost. 5

[Leica L] I used to have a non brand name ring for the m lens to the SL body, but found the loose when the lens is on the ring, I don’t want to take the chance of falling off. This ring has met my expectations 5

[Leica L] The first lens I used this for was an18mm m lens on my sl. Fit and operation was perfect. Snug fit for both the lens and camera body. Roughly 1400 photos later no light leakage. Still snug fit. Was what I expected. I have purchased two more and plan to leave them on the lens for more rapid changes. 5

[0.045 lb] My copy has zero play to either the Leica R lens-mount side or to the S1H L camera-mount side. Great value if you don't need the ROM info with the Leica SL/2/2S cameras. 5
