Pairing infrared attenuation and neutral density with a warming 85 filter, the Tiffen 6.6x6.6" Water White Glass 85/IRND 0.3 Filterfrom Tiffen 6.6x6.6" Water White Glass 85/IRND 0.3 Filteris an all-in-one solution to reduce exposure values and achieving neutral color. The neutral density portion of the filter offers a 1-stop exposure reduction for working with longer shutter speeds or wider aperture settings. The infrared portion attenuates infrared wavelengths to benefit working with CCD and CMOS sensors under difficult lighting conditions where infrared pollution can affect color balance. Finally, the addition of 85 warming filtration balances daylight to 3400K, tungsten balance to easier match varying color temperatures during a shoot. The filter is constructed from Water White optical glass for maintained clarity and measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6mm to pair well with lightweight or clip-on matte boxes.

Alleviating the need to use multiple filters at once, this filter combines three distinct effects to reduce the number of filter surfaces in use.

IRND 0.3 filter offers a 1-stop exposure reduction to permit working with longer shutter speeds or wider aperture settings than normally required.

Infrared-attenuating design eliminates infrared bleed above 700nm, is proportionate to the neutral density value, and helps to ensure clean, accurate colors and true blacks.

Warming 85 filter decreases the color temperature and converts daylight balance to 3400K tungsten balance.

Constructed from ColorCore technology Water White optical glass for maintained image quality.

Measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6mm and is ideally suited for use with lightweight clip-on matte boxes.

[Glass] Why buy anything less than the best when you use the best Zeiss Glass. The Water White Glass filters are a CLEAR winner from Tiffen.

[Glass] I used this filter on a recent trip to New York. Filter worked great for me. There was very little color cast and I ended up with some great shots.

[Glass] Great filtration. I will be using this quite a bit on the A7s. The only issue is that it leans a little towards the green spectrum. Make sure you adjust your image in the camera accordingly. Other than that, it's a solid buy.

[Glass] This did the trick for eliminating IR pollution in my BMPCC when I attached ND filters. I tried getting just a IR Cut filter so I could save a buck and continue to use my old filters, but that didn't do the trick. These work like a charm!

[Glass] I bought this ND filter so that I can shoot video at a proper shutter speed and still use a low f-stop in broad daylight. It works great, allowing me to keep distracting backgrounds nicely blurred. When shooting towards the sun this filter in combination with my Nikon series E 50mm F1.8 does lose some contrast if I don't use a hood or a matte box. Nothing that can't easily be corrected by some slight curves adjustment in post. The color I get through this filter is very good, even though it's an ND2.1 everything comes out very natural with no noticeable color cast to the image.

[Glass] I consider myself a semi-professional photographer and I am extremely satisfied since I bought it two weeks ago... I did not notice any vignetting and overall quality of filter is good , especially if I compare the quality with price. Would definitely recommend

[Glass] I bought this for an upcoming China shoot and paired it with my Sony A7s. I had to return this for the Tiffen 1.2 IRND. I wasn't unhappy with the 2.1 at all. What it came down to was that: I wanted a little more room to create a larger depth of field. This filter does however bend towards a green shift, so make sure you compensate for that in camera.

[Glass] I rate this filter the same as the two others I am using. Tiffen products reflect reliable QUALITY CONTROL. I count on it.

Ever since my first series filter for my Leica M3, back in the 1960's, TIFFEN has not let me down. Same now, as then, but this time for my Panasonic S1H. Just great for a PURE COLOR feel. No color shifts, all balanced color. Professional results.
