[Glass] Back when I shot nothing but film I used Tiffen filters and I'm happy that the quality is still here. There doesn't appear to be any strange diffraction in my shots even way out in the corners like I have found before in economically priced filters. 5

[Glass] These filters get the job done and prevent any IR contamination. There is a slight shift in color which can easily be corrected in post or in-camera. Many cinematographers use this. This will not work on the Red Camera sensors - they need a hot mirror as well. So keep that in mind. I hear these range of IR filters are the best choice for Alexa, as these filters do the least amount of damage to the skin tones. 5
