A: Hi Colin The locking mechanism on these Orca pouches are quite sturdy. The pouch has a protruding cross, that marry with a sunken negative of the same shape on the bag when tilted 90 degrees. In other words, it keys into the bag at 90 degrees and locks by turning it up right. I'm not shure how this pouch or the Petrol pouch would key into a cheese plate unless you mounted the receiving key to it first. Bongo ties and stick on Velcro is how I usually go about mounting receivers to the camera.BestLouw
