[10.5 lb] I'm impressed with how solid this mount is. The entire bracket feels solid and the installation directions were good. It is heavier than a lot of articulating arm brackets, but it is built to hold the weight of a large TV. 5

[10.5 lb] I've been installing A/V components for 17+ years and Peerless is one of my favorites. This mount is built very strong (but make sure you don't exceed the recommended weight capacity). Since it's so robust it moves very smoothly and easily. This means you don't need to shove, flex and potentially damage your flat panel to collapse the bracket. The only gripe I can come up with is that the mounting locations are 16 apart (obviously for stud layout). There are no other holes to accommodate alternate framing. The vertical elliptical piece can slide left or right to accommodate for studs not being in the right place for proper TV placement. Cannot beat the price at B & H. 5
