[40°] I wanted a small softbox for field use. Some friends have bought the Profoto one at almost 3 times the price of the Impact one. I had a bunch of speedrings but none for my alien bee so I bought a speedring insert at Amazon for alien bee's for $16. The AB speedring adapter fit the old speedring and the whole thing went together very easily. This softbox is very high quality and in my opinion much better than the Profoto. I love it. Came with a nice carry case an extra rod and instructions.

[Hook & Loop] Arrived two days ago just in time for the job today. Retired my Chimeras after 30 years of rectangles and liking the round catch lights and even coverage. Tried the Glo bank, but did not like having to undo the diffuser velcro and snaps to assemble the locking system. Happy so far with the three Impacts I purchased.

[Hook & Loop] Got this as a bonus when I bought the Impact Luxbanx Medium Rectangular Softbox (24 x 32). Does a great job softening the light.

[40°] This little Octa is perfect for portraits and can easily be used in place of a beauty dish to achieve similar results, especially when used with the optional grid. The light is beautiful and soft and I found it useful as a main light or as a gridded directional kicker. The octa is small, light and compact, making it super easy to use in the studio or on location.

[40°] I use this as a main light for my on location headshots, creates a very nice catch light in the eyes!
It's not super fast to set up but after doing it a few times Im getting faster.

[Synthetic] I’m using this softbox primarily as a backlight on the subject on a green screen as it will reduce “green spill” coming from the green screen. Since the inside is white, it will allow a more pleasing and even softer light, almost like a glow effect instead of a harsh silver finish. Each finish is good for different purposes. A silver finish will allow a punchier light output and more powerful, without having to crank up your light to 100% at times.

Very pleased with this softbox. It’s the right size for what I’m using it for and it’s very easy to setup. The rods do NOT come off easily and stay there, if you know how to use a speed ring properly.
