Lens inside the lens hood, whereas if you purchase the Leica E82 Filter Adapter for Leica 21mm f/1.4 Summilux-M Aspherical Lens, B&H # LEARS882, you may also use the Leica E82 UVa II Filter (Black), B&H # LEUVE82, for your usage needs.

A: Yes, you can with the proper T-Adapter and camera specific T-Ring.

Q: 6. Why is this cheaper than the super-shield?

A: The Rycote super-shield and super-blimp are very similar products; both offering exceptional suspension mechanisms and excellent wind noise reduction. The biggest advantage to the super-shield (and why you pay more) is the attached hand grip. Should you desire to use the mic in a stealth like application, the hand grip will come in very handy- no pun intended.

Q: 7. Would the shock mount in this kit be good to use by itself, or is it best to use a different shock mount if not intending to use the blimp?

A: The shock mount included in this blimp kit is very good, and would be find to be used on its own.

Q: 8. Will this fit the new Sony Multi-Interface shoe, or is it for the old Minolta Autolock shoe?

A: This would not be compatible with the Multi-Interface shoe. It would be for the older Sony/Minolta shoe.

Q: 9. What is the weight of this setup? (Not the package weight.)

A: Rycote provides approximate weight for the kit without the handle as 15.9 oz (450 g). Weight for the suspension only is 9.2 oz (260 g). Weight for the windjammer only is 3.9 oz (110 g). Weight for the kit with the windjammer fitted and without the handle attached is 19.7 oz (560 g). Kit (w/o handle): 450g Suspension only: 260g Windjammer only: 110g Kit with WJ fitted (w/o handle): 560g

[Glass] I use this softening filter in certain landscape situations, not necessarily for portraiture. And guess what, that can be lots of fun! I use it with my 105 Nikor micro lens occasionally and can get the most dreamy look, just gorgeous. No kidding. I also have the 77mm size, pro mist 3 for the 70-200 zoom. Really can't tell much difference between the #2 and #3 strength. Get the black version if you don't want some halos around the highlights. I like the halos personally. [Glass] This did the trick for eliminating IR pollution in my BMPCC when I attached ND filters. I tried getting just a IR Cut filter so I could save a buck and continue to use my old filters, but that didn't do the trick. These work like a charm! 5

[Glass] I rate this filter the same as the two others I am using. Tiffen products reflect reliable QUALITY CONTROL. I count on it. Ever since my first series filter for my Leica M3, back in the 1960's, TIFFEN has not let me down. Same now, as then, but this time for my Panasonic S1H. Just great for a PURE COLOR feel. No color shifts, all balanced color. Professional results. 5

[Glass] These filters get the job done and prevent any IR contamination. There is a slight shift in color which can easily be corrected in post or in-camera. Many cinematographers use this. This will not work on the Red Camera sensors - they need a hot mirror as well. So keep that in mind. I hear these range of IR filters are the best choice for Alexa, as these filters do the least amount of damage to the skin tones. 5
