Offering a bright white finish on a poly-cotton material, this 17" x 5' roll of Hahnemuhle Daguerre Canvas 17x5 Rollfrom Hahnemuhle will help you create vivid, archival prints on a unique matte surface. It features a hefty basis weight of 400 gsm, a thickness of 22 mil, an opacity of 98%, and a whiteness of 101%. Also, it is instant drying and water resistant and uses a moderate amount of OBA content to achieve a bright white point. Additionally, the matte canvas is acid free for archival-grade prints. It comes on a 2" core.

A: The printheads are about 1/2 apart. So it sounds like an absorbency issue with the ink. This is usually caused from ink incompatibility.

Q: 8. Is it waterproof?

A: No. The bag design and material are not meant to be waterproof; however, from my very limited experience during a light rain it appears the bag has received some form of water-resistance coating as water did not soak through the leather (albeit I immediately went indoors and wiped off any water just in case -- it is leather after all). Please note the bag's flap was not designed to completely cover the interior so water can get in. Otherwise, this a beautiful, well-made bag that I use daily even though it tends to be much heaver than most canvas bags. For me, I actually do not mind the extra weight as the added weight tends to keep the bag in one place without swinging around while moving about. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

A: The Domke F-8 Small Canvas Shoulder Bag (Sand) could carry the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera with either the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens or the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED Lens attached. There is not enough room for both lenses.

Q: 10. why do you call it paper? isn't it canvas? does this stretch on stretcher bars?

A: This cotton-poly blended canvas features elastic polymers that provide the high tensile strength necessary for gallery wrap stretching without cracking. It is canvas but it is a mix of synthetic and cotton materials.

[Canvas] The canvas has the ability to resolve detail extremely well and the whites are pure. Used with the satin varnish I am very pleased with the end result. The canvas is easy to stretch and gallery wrap. 5

[Yes] I like this canvas a lot, having tried samples of others by Epson and Hahnemuhle. This one is my favorite, for weight and the bright white color. I printed using my Epson 3880 and after only a couple of alignment issues, had no trouble printing using the rear manual feeder. Very easy. Only trouble I ran into was my first print was not printing in the right spot, and I needed to change the custom paper setting in the driver from 35x17 to 17x35. That fixed the problem. 5

[Canvas] A truly bright white, heavy canvas with Matte finish--I've used a lot of canvas and this one is at the top of the list when you need bright white and there are many more applications for it than one might think. If you have not printed on bright white canvas, this is the one to try. True color reproduction and with a Hahn matte or satin varnish on it...stunning. 5

[Single] I have over a dozen years printing on paper, but this was the first time I printed canvas in-house and it was a great experience. The Daguerre Canvas looks great, especially after varnishing with Premier Eco Print Shield. Stretched without cracking or any other issues. The only issue I had was that Daguerre Canvas ships on a 2 core, so you'll need to switch from the more typical 3 core. 5
