Q: 6. I just received this with a M4/3 mount. When I put it on my OM-D E-M1 II, I see nothing - looks the same with lens cap off as on. This was listed as compatible for my camera. Tried it at all aperture. My camera did detect that is a MF lens. What more do I need to do Or just return it?

A: The TTartisan 50mm f/1.2 Lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras fits very tight on your camera lens mount. It may feel the lens is attached but if the LCD is displaying a black frame it means the lens is not connected correctly yet. Please removed the lens and mounted it back on. Make sure you hear a click when you finish turning the lens in the mount.

Q: 7. How much does 50mm f/1.2 lens weigh?

A: That information has yet to be released by Leica. However, we do have a shipping weight of 5lbs. (2.27 kg) for the box with the lens in it. For the purpose of comparison, the Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH Lens (Black) BH #LE50095NB weighs 1.5lbs. (700g). We would typically expect a f/1.2 lens to weigh less than a f/0.95 lens, so a good guess might be around 1.1 lbs. or about 500g. We'll update the specifications as more information becomes available.

Q: 8. Is this the markII of this lens?

A: We have only seen rumors of the Mark II so far--this is the original lens.

[Glass] This did the trick for eliminating IR pollution in my BMPCC when I attached ND filters. I tried getting just a IR Cut filter so I could save a buck and continue to use my old filters, but that didn't do the trick. These work like a charm! 5

[Glass] These filters get the job done and prevent any IR contamination. There is a slight shift in color which can easily be corrected in post or in-camera. Many cinematographers use this. This will not work on the Red Camera sensors - they need a hot mirror as well. So keep that in mind. I hear these range of IR filters are the best choice for Alexa, as these filters do the least amount of damage to the skin tones. 5

[Glass] I use it with Sigma 18-35 1.8 on BMPCC4K. Earlier I had 'heavier' Black Pro Mist 1, but this 1/4 baby does more delicate job. 5

[Glass] I rate this filter the same as the two others I am using. Tiffen products reflect reliable QUALITY CONTROL. I count on it. Ever since my first series filter for my Leica M3, back in the 1960's, TIFFEN has not let me down. Same now, as then, but this time for my Panasonic S1H. Just great for a PURE COLOR feel. No color shifts, all balanced color. Professional results. 5

[Glass] I use this softening filter in certain landscape situations, not necessarily for portraiture. And guess what, that can be lots of fun! I use it with my 105 Nikor micro lens occasionally and can get the most dreamy look, just gorgeous. No kidding. I also have the 77mm size, pro mist 3 for the 70-200 zoom. Really can't tell much difference between the #2 and #3 strength. Get the black version if you don't want some halos around the highlights. I like the halos personally. The more backlighting or highlights with light areas, the more halos 5
