Styled in black on black, the ProX T-TT Case for SL1200 Turntable Silver Blackis a universal turntable case with high-density foam interior support. It's designed to fit and protect Technics SL1200 sizes, but it will also fit other popular models.

This is a CNC-milled, ATA-300-style road/flight case. It's constructed with a Honeycomb digital-laminated surface design, and has hexagon grids that help protect the turntable and prevent minor marring or scratching to the case itself. It has four industrial grade-rubber feet, steel-ball corners, and spring-action recessed handles.

[22.4 lb] I am bullish on how-well protected my audio board will be surrounded by this bulwark protective case. You will get a good work out when you first pick up this unit because of the weight; although, the case does have wheels to roll it around once you put it down on a flat surface. There is enough room inside for a comfortable fit; of course, one should forego with doing the measurements to make sure this is the right size for your equipment. This is worth spending a little extra to insure that your audio gear will be fine during transportation; however, I am not sure about how protected it will be during a deluge of rain; nevertheless, it is worth taking the risk. In addition you can lock up the case for security; if, you have to transport it by plane. 5

[22.4 lb] I purchased this as a replacement for a high-end turntable that was getting quite tired. This Yamaha unit looks very elegant--much more expensive looking than it costs-- and the sound is great. The speed consistency is perhaps the best part of the sound--very, very solid which makes for wonderful bass. I also wanted to purchase a turntable from a company that has a reputation for quality at a reasonable price and backs up the customer in the long run. Consider this: The price of replacing just the stylus (the needle) for my old high end unit was more than the cost of this entire turntable--which is sort of crazy--unless you are very, very rich. Oh, and If you need to replace the stylus of the Yamaha TT-S303, you can do so at a reasonable cost. Another nice feature is that you can play this turntable through an outboard phono pre-amp or utilize the built in pre-amp--very nice. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, my wife thinks it looks great in our living room. 5

[22.4 lb] Aloha, living in Hawaii, to purchase items like this you can't find it in Hawaii and if you do it's very expensive. You was the only company that shipped to Hawaii and it was free and the price on the case was cheap. I can believe how fast it came in. [22.4 lb] This is a great case; well built, solid, attractive, and perfectly slim for a compact system. With a mixer and controller taking up 7 spaces, there's still plenty of room for cables and a power conditioner. My only concern is regarding the single handle. While effective, a second handle would be nice; With a few pieces of gear mounted inside, the empty weight of 24 pounds quickly gets up to 40+, which can get strenuous on one arm if you have to walk a distance. Still a great product though. 5
