Transmit video up to 230' using this 2-gang HDMI VGA to HDBaseT Transmitter Wall Plate USfrom Atlona. The wall plate can transmit up to 4K60 video and features one HDMI input, one VGA input, one 3.5mm analog audio input, and an RJ45 HDBaseT output. The wall plate has a 2-gang design and is designed for US wall plate installation.

The AT-HDVS-150-TX is designed to pair with the AT-HDVS-150-RX receiver plate to transmit and receive 1080p HD video at distances up to 230'. The wall plate features an input-select button to choose between the HDMI or VGA inputs, but it can also auto-switch depending on signal and power availability. There is also an On/Off button on the front to control the display connected to the receiver on the other end. An LED indicator lights up when there is an active link over the HDBaseT connection on the back.

There is also a 3.5mm stereo audio connector on the front that allows you to pass through analog audio. A mini-USB port on the back of the plate provides the ability to update the unit's firmware.

A: Don't think the transmitter takes 4K. but operationally you can always loop out from either your camera or the recorder itself, presuming your recorder is at the camera end of things.

A: No, the following unit will work with Canon BP-970 batteries only.

Q: 5. Would this be compatible with the Panasonic ag-ux180 camera battery?

A: Unfortunately, the Panasonic AG-UX180 uses the VW-VBD battery series and the Teradek Tomahawk2 Transmitter/Receiver Battery Plate is meant for CGA-D54 batteries.

Q: 6. Does this have LUT compatibility?

A: The Ghost Eye can not augment the signal itself. It will send whatever you send down the HDMI or SDI signal, but cannot add anything. If you can send a LUT down the line, it will send the LUT.

A: For anyone interested, I asked Cinegears and this is what they told me; V2 kits all offer at least double the range of of the previous kit versions, but all V2 units are backwards compatible with the original series. The kits also feature more advanced mounting options, including an articulated arm and a versatile mounting clamp.

A: No. It uses its own transmission.
