When tampering is detected, or the door station is vandalized, the security relay cuts connection to the door strike, keeping the door locked and preventing entry. The security relay features a reset button with an LED indicator light to return it to normal function. It can also act as a power transformer by doubling the 12 V output from a door station, making it possible to control 24 V locks.
