The tripod's 3-section legs have flip locks to individually change the height of each leg. The locks are tension-adjustable to help maintain a tight lock over the tripod's lifespan. [4.8 lb] I was looking for a stable tripod for my Celestron spotting scope. This one worked better than several others that I've tried. It is quite stable even with the relatively heavy spotting scope. It is easy to assemble and I like the snap locks on the legs.

[3/8"-16 Male] Excellent product, very stable even with a large gimbal head. The price was more than fair!

[3] You know. I love the Manfrotto equipment. Great by itself. Better if you have a tripod head of some sort. I recommend the fluid video head, but it may be overkill for you.

Also highly recommend the Move plates.

[4.8 lb] I love the steadiness and quality build of this tripod. My prior experience with this tripod was using it with my company issued Matterport camera. I love quick height adjustments with claps. When I needed to replace my personal tripod, this was my first choice.

[3/8"-16 Male] Just purchased my second one of these. I keep one at the beach house and one at home. It is solid and I much prefer the clip type latches over screw release on the legs. I paired this with the Manfrotto pistol grip (322RC2) and it's very stable. I prefer this to a much more expensive set up I had in the past.

[25 x 4.5 x 4.5"] Light weight yet seems heavy duty.

[Aluminum] For years I've been hearing about how everyone first purchases an inexpensive tripod only to regret it later and my moment came after purchasing a longer lense. The weight of my DSLR and 70-200mm made the old tripod useless. After reading reviews and comments, checking out tripods at local meetup groups I finally decided and immediately knew I made the right choice. I added a Manfrotto grip ball head for ease of setup and alignment and I can't imagine I'll ever change setups. Tripod is solid, a snap to setup, easy to align and not once have I been concerned about the safety of my camera and lense on top of this choice. The three section legs make getting the right height simple and sturdy.

[Aluminum] Love the flip locks on this tripod. Makes field adjustments so much easier than the rotate type.
