Set up safely and securely with Prompter People's StagePro 15" Presidential Teleprompter. Aluminum-built for high-strength and featuring a tool-less assembly design, this StagePro prompter can be set up and running within minutes, providing a 17 ft reading range on a 60/40 beamsplitter. The beamsplitter is made of low-iron glass that eliminates color shift and has anti-reflection coating that prevents glass reflections. It measures 14 x 12" and has beveled edges for safety.

The 15" monitor is self-reversing, meaning that it automatically reverses the backwards-projected text on the beamsplitter glass, without the need for additional software. It has HDMI, VGA, and Composite RCA inputs. An AC adapter is included for continuous power, and you can alternatively use an optional ION Photogenic battery, which is supported without any battery mount. Prompter People's Flip-Q Pro software (Mac/Win) is included on a USB security dongle that will allow you to switch between computers without having to register each time, and it can also be downloaded for free on your main computer.

Q: 1. What is the difference between single and pair?

A: Besides the difference in cost, with two prompters the speaker can look two ways to the audience in a more natural way and without interruption. With only one prompter, the speaker is pretty much restricted to only one eye direction. That is why the President always has two. It looks better that way.

Q: 2. Can I use this in the studio and shoot the camera through it without any glare or reflection into the lens? Or is this only for live / stage use?

A: While it may be possible, that would not be recommended. There is no hood as you would find on camera teleprompter system to avoid any glare issues. This is designed for a different purpose.

Q: 3. Can I rig this prompter on a hard body camera?

A: We use the 24 version with various cameras - Panasonic full size eng cameras to 5Ds, it's all about balancing the camera with the hardware on the tripod. The prompter hardware has a mounting bracket with adjustments for horizontal and vertical adjustments of your camera. I think for a large hard studio camera system you might just want to double check on the weight capacity with Prompter People. They have been very prompt (no pun intended) on any questions asked.

Q: 4. Are these compatible with any of the foot pedals?

[27 lb] This will instantly increase your production value for pennies on the dollar compared to studio teleprompters. Very simple to use and extremely effective. Comes with a very nice microfiber cloth, and wireless keyboard remoteA pad app is required that is not intuitive at all. There should be an option to type in the scroll speed instead of the slider.Otherwise it's ready out of the box. 5

[27 lb] I use this prompter in a small green screen setup. Subject is about 5 feet from the camera, and the prompter works perfectly. The only issue I had is with the remote and the software that is listed on this site and comes with the prompter. The remote didn't seem to work with anything, and I couldn't even find the app as listed. However, if you have an iPhone, the iCue and iCue remote app work beautifully. You can adjust the size and speed of your script very easily, you can go backward, forward, pause, etc., and you have as much control as you'll need. I was set up and rolling within 20 minutes of purchasing. Can't go wrong for the money. HOWEVER, I do have it mounted on a tripod and would think this would be very heavy for a camera man to lug in the field. 5

[27 lb] I had an issue with the bracket coming loose from the glass. I talked with the Sales Manager Chuck and he assured me that this hardly ever happens since they switched to the new adhesive. He sent me a new one immediately and shipped it the same day.I haven't had any issues with the new one. Great customer service!The teleprompter is light weight and works really well with different types of cameras. 5

[27 lb] This small unit really does the job well. I use it with the Ipad 4, although there is a little wiggle room it does fit. You may want to secure with a small piece of foam or even a rag if you are hand holding your rig. 5

[27 lb] I have been using this product for more than 9 months now and it works great. I produce a number of corporate videos each month, I needed something that was high quality, that worked right everytime. Corporate executive's time is very valuable, the last thing I needed was a prompter to not perform. There are enough other things to worry about on set or in studio, the prompter shouldn't be one of them. This product does just that. The software that comes with it works. It won't win any awards for being pretty or eye catching but it gets the job done. I would by this product again. 5

[27 lb] I am an independent Director of Production, which means, I do EVERYTHING in production, including running prompter. The Ultralight for iPad is just that..ULTRA-LIGHT! I use it with my EX-3 with Sachler head and hotpod, and it works great! I can even go handheld with my iPad scrolling at a pre-set speed, and still move and groove! Great product! 5

[27 lb] This prompter was easy to set up and use with my Panasonic HVX-200 and Ipad 2. All I needed was a flathead screwdriver to adjust the mounting plates and balance the rig on my tripod. I used it 2 days in a row. I figure that this prompter minus the ipad paid for itself in 2 days. I use to rent a prompter with an operator for $400-$550 a day. The next step for me is to buy a Thermodyne or Pelican case to store the prompter. It is well worth the money. 5

[27 lb] I do a lot of solo shoots & needed a TelePrompTer that was easy to set up and run. This was it. The equipment is good quality; the camera sled is heavy duty & had no problems with a SONY NX5U. The Velcro tabs made it easy to move the sled/camera to the right position. The software was amazingly good - I used the IOS setup & controller the promoter via my iPhone. It easily imported a Word doc via google drive without issues and without reading any directions I was able to edit the doc in the program as the talent made changes. Image is sharp; I used an iPad mini and was easy to read at 15 feet. Great product. 5

[27 lb] This is a great teleprompter. Quick to set-up, and very adaptable. Makes a huge difference when interviewing non-professionals on video. My only complaint is that the Prompter People do not make a good custom case for it. 5
