However, it works perfectly with the 95 to 114mm screw-on adapter (Bright Tangerine but also other manufacturers) and the advantage is you can use a 114mm lens cover to protect the lens in transit instead of that Sony disposable coffee cup version that comes with the lens.

A: It's not the lens mount that's going to matter (EF, PL, etc), it's the size of the lens barrel. This matte box is made to fit standard 114mm cinema lenses, but Bright Tangerine makes a bunch of affordable step down rings. I have the 77mm step down rings which fits all the more affordable Rokinon lenses. Just look on the front of your lens and it will tell you the size.
