A: Hi Mitchel ,yes the shoulder pad extension come with the rig, if you use any C series camera you need to buy the counterweight sold separately. The pad extension that come with the rig is just plastic and with the camera mounted on the rig you will face some unbalancing problem. With the optional counterweight you will solve all the balance problems. The rig will be a little bit heavy but is ok. Regarding the mounting for both the original and the optional shoulder pad hare tail mounted on the back of the rig true a butterfly screw and a washer. A: I am using it for a C300 Mark II. It works and is a snug fit with the handle, a short shotgun mic and the small monitor that comes with the C300 Mk II attached. I like the bag a lot, but wish it had just a little bit more headroom (height). You can remove the partitions so there is plenty of width and length is good, if you have a short shotgun mic attached.
