Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use for my vivitar 285 flash?

A: You could use this transceiver kit if you have one of the Vivitar 285HV flashes made in the last several years, which has a lower sync voltage.

Q: 2. Will these work with a D7200?

A: Yes they will

Q: 3. Will the Yongnuo yn622n ii work with my D500 and D810 using SB700 and SB800 speed lights?

A: most lokely but probably would require yongnuoo transmitter on camera

Q: 4. I need a OCF setup but never used this brand. I need a pass through transmitter and two receivers for wedding receptions. Do these have such a thing?

A: Zach,I'm not familiar with the term OCF . I have used the YN622N along with the TX622N on my camera to fire my old SB28 flash and I have used one of the YN622N's to fire the camera and the flash remotely. I have had no trouble in my testing of these units and I am considering buying a Yungno flash as well to supplement my SB28. To date, I am very satisfied with the YN622N.

Q: 5. Are both YN622N-TX and YN622N-II compatible with Nikon D850 ?. I have three SB900s. Thanks for your help.

A: Yes the YN-622N is compatible with the D850 and SB 900s.

Q: 6. Will these work with a Nikon D610?

A: It will work on any nikon dslr camera. I use it on my D600.

Q: 7. Does the YN622N II support the new SB 5000 please? and does the version II works with first version ?

A: Unfortunately, there have not been any tests to date involving the YN 622N II and the SB-5000. With that being said, we are not able to confirm their full compatibility. As for the features in the YN 622N II over the original YN 622N, those would be the USB port for firmware updates and a locking hot shoe. They are full compatible with the original YN 622 units.

Q: 8. can I use this as a auto focus assist only with my camera in aprature priority mode or will I have to use the camera in manual mode with it?

A: As you keep pressed the test button, the camera will operate just as if you were holding shutter button, making the focus if you are in autofocus. When you release the button the photo is taken.

Q: 9. Will these trigger an SB-300 Speedlight?

A: Yes no problem

Q: 10. Will these work to and from a Yongnuo YN-622N-TX i-TTL Wireless Flash Controller and a Nikon SB-900?

A: Yes, if you connect the Nikon SB-900 Speedlight Flash to the Yongnuo i-TTL Transceiver YN622N for Nikon Cameras, the Yongnuo YN-622N-TX i-TTL Wireless Flash Controller will wirelessly trigger the Nikon SB-900 Speedlight Flash.

[7] These are a great solution to get your flash off camera. Easily expandable, sets up with no fuss. Get the controller though. Using just the transceiver is a bit of a strange process because you can’t really see what adjustments you’re making.

[7] I watched several B & H Youtube videos about this product before I purchased. I was familiar with this product when I received it and getting started was no problem. I have tested it with my old Nikon SB28 and it works well. While the SB28 does not support Nikon's i-TTL, it is still functional. I also bought the Yongnuo Yn-622n-TX I-Tii wireless flash controller for my Nikon D610 and the combination seems to function as advertised.

[Hot Shoe] I bought these to go with an older set I purchased previous and they work great. I like the newer model with the redesigned hotshoe lock and the built in usb port for firmware updates. The side buttons have also been redesigned. On the old version I took the plastic buttons out and covered the holes with gaffer to prevent accidental channel changes..the new design is a plus!!!!

[3 (A, B, C)] I've used the earlier version of this product and been extremely happy with the results. This version is for practical purposes the same, with the exception that now you can update the firmware when available through the USB port. Use is simple and straightforward, though you may struggle a bit at first due to the chinglete manual (not really well written as far as the English goes.)

[3 (A, B, C)] I use this equipment in my studio and when I have to work outside. These are amazing. Easy to use, easy to set up. I'm surprised you far I can so and still trigger my strobes. The auto-focus assist is a nice add that has been very useful in low light situations. The battery consumption is fair. Is a great addition to your bag for the price.

[2.4 GHz] These have worked well for me on a number of shoots. I use them with a Nikon SB800 and SB600. Very simple and intuitive if you have a fundamental knowledge of remote triggers.

[Hot Shoe] Works great, a dream come true.  Real wireless control of flash.  Nikon IR is NOT WIRELESS.  Remote, YES, but by standard definition, NOT WIRELESS.  Wireless by ENGLISH definition is radio waves, not IR.
