I believe this copy applies to a less expensive RRS monopod head. It appears that the top platform / clamp of this monopod head can be quickly reoriented without tools using a thumb screw. Can B&H confirm?

A: There are three versions of the RRS monopod head: 1) Standard Screw Knob Clamp; 2) Standard Lever-Release Clamp; and, 3) Indexing Lever-Release Clamp. The two standard versions require a hex key to reorient the clamp whereas the indexing version and be reoriented without tools.

A: Yes as long as the threading's are 42mm then it will work. That is correct.

Q: 7. What is the back focus distance of this reducer?

A: With the focal reducer, it is 63.5mm.

A: The Vixen Optics Slow Motion Control Knob for AP, GP2, and GPD2 Mounts is a replacement knob for those mounts. The knobs mount on a shaft that is roughly 6mm in diameter.

A: There is no maximum weight for the SLC-60B Arca-Type Lever-Release Clamp. The maximum weight depends on the tripod and head the clamp is being used on.

[0.07 lb] As the others said, don't forget to buy the TeleVue 2 to SCT adapter to go with this, unscrew the back tube and use the T-mount adapter direct. You might also want (as I bought) some parfocal rings for the eyepieces (not available at B&H but maybe they will add them) My setup is complete, this easily flips between perfectly focused eyepiece and perfectly focused SLR. Can't wait to drive out to the star park! 5

[0.07 lb] I purchased the Vixen Flip Mirror Diagonal for Astrophotography, therefore, I needed to also buy some accessories. Thanks to fellow reviewer, I was able to get all the accessories at the same time as the mirror. My setup: Celestron EdgeHD 11 - Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter-Long - Vixen Flip Mirror - T-Mount for Canon EF-M Canon Camera. On the upper tube of the mirror: Vixen #37292 T-Thread to 2 Eyepiece Adapter 2 Celestron 29mm eyepice. 5

[0.07 lb] This is a great little unit up until I started using this flip mirror I was having a hard time taking photos with my universal set up this eliminates all of the vibrations in the telescope and allows me to really zoom into my target while the telescope slews .. great product....phil 5

[0.07 lb] It is working perfectly. No accurate polar alignment is required. Rough polar alignment through the peep hole is fine for focal length from 14mm - 105mm with 30” to 120” exposure. I feel it can push to 105mm and 180” exposure with no problem. 200mm focal length with 120” exposure is acceptable, no obvious star trailing is seen. But considering this is done with NO polar scope, I think it’s fantastic. It is so small that it fits into my camera bag easily. Use only 2 AA batteries. Look and feel good. Expensive but well worth it. 5
