Use Vixen Optics Counterweight Bar for Telescopesto balance between a camera and their AP Photo Guider for more stable tracking. Your camera is attached on one side of the Dovetail Slide Bar PG, and this counterweight bar is attached on the other side to hold the optional counterweight.

A: It will not.

A: The Vixen Optics Slow Motion Control Knob for AP, GP2, and GPD2 Mounts is a replacement knob for those mounts. The knobs mount on a shaft that is roughly 6mm in diameter.

Q: 7. Is it good for Vinyl backgrounds?

A: Never used it on Vinyl, but we have vinyl background so I know that it would work fine. We have 4 of them and they are great for the paper rolls.

Q: 8. I just bought a Vixen 80mm refractor with the flip mirror. I bought a 2 inch explorer scientific flattener as well. I would like to know what accessory do i need to attach the 2 inch flatter with the telescope on one side and camera with t-ring adaptor. The flip mirror is not 2 inch, so i believe that's where the issue is?

A: Yes it is compatible.

A: The Celestron 2A AC Adapter for Select Celestron Computerized Telescopes is compatible would the Advanced VX mount.

[0.8 lb] This plate REALLY IDEAL match with my Vixen Porta II mount and make possible mounting my OTA Sky Watcher 4.5' Neutonian. [0.8 lb] It is easy to use and no puzzle. As the added camera & lens provides additional weight to the mount, some care and attention is needed. If the screws are not firmly tight, the camera can move when the mounting shaft cools. . . all are common sense details. 5

[0.8 lb] Flip mirror works well but to save time don't forget to purchase 2female to 2 Inner Diameter Barrel Rear (I got Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter - Long for my Celestron Next Star 8 SCT). My set up: SCTelescope - Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter-Long - Vixen Flip Mirror - T-Mount for Canon EF-M(screw in directly without rear tube)- Canon M. As usual B&H service is great. 5

[0.8 lb] Bought this polar meter to use with my recent purchase of the vixen polarie star tracker.... so easy to align with the north star, buy one of these if you want easy alignment with polarie star... mind you later on I will purchase the polar scope... 5

[0.8 lb] I used the Vixen flip mirror with my Televue 85mm telescope and Canon digital camera to photograph the 21.08.2017 total eclipse from western Kentucky. The flip mirror fit securely in the 2 focuser on the telescope. The right angle port with the eyepiece tube removed accepted the T-ring for the Canon camera. This was especially helpful given the 62 degree elevation of the sun and made focusing through the camera viewfinder easy. In other photography situations an eyepiece can be used in either port with the camera in the other. 5

[0.8 lb] As the others said, don't forget to buy the TeleVue 2 to SCT adapter to go with this, unscrew the back tube and use the T-mount adapter direct. You might also want (as I bought) some parfocal rings for the eyepieces (not available at B&H but maybe they will add them) My setup is complete, this easily flips between perfectly focused eyepiece and perfectly focused SLR. Can't wait to drive out to the star park! 5

[0.8 lb] I purchased the Vixen Flip Mirror Diagonal for Astrophotography, therefore, I needed to also buy some accessories. Thanks to fellow reviewer, I was able to get all the accessories at the same time as the mirror. My setup: Celestron EdgeHD 11 - Tele Vue Schmidt-Cassegrain Adapter-Long - Vixen Flip Mirror - T-Mount for Canon EF-M Canon Camera. On the upper tube of the mirror: Vixen #37292 T-Thread to 2 Eyepiece Adapter 2 Celestron 29mm eyepice. 5
