Reduce unwanted vibration commonly associated with small shutter triggering buttons with a beautiful, threaded Soft Shutter Release Button Walnut Wood Small Convex Threadedfrom Artisan Obscura. Featuring a small, 11mm size, the shutter release button attaches to your camera via a threaded screw, tapered to fit most cameras, and comes with two small anti-slip O-rings, which use friction to prevent the button from loosening. Enlarging and raising the point of contact for your shutter finger can result in added comfort and the ability to use slower shutter speeds with improved sharpness.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work in a Fuji XT-20 ?

A: Although, I agree, it is a nice Soft Shutter Release Button, I have found that it isnt optional for the X-T20 because its diameter always touches the shutter speed dial whenever you are taking a picture. I would encourage you to find a Shutter Release Button smaller in diameter.

Q: 2. Is this an item made in Spain?

A: The Country of Origin for this product is the USA.

Q: 3. Will this button work on a Fuji X-S10

A: Yes. 100% will adapt to the Fuji x-s10 system.

Q: 4. Would you recommend a ‘large’ or a ‘small’ size release button for a Nikon FM2N? Also, why do some users prefer either a concave or convex shape? Thanks.

A: For an FM2, a large would be good. As far as shape, that is a matter of personal preference. I think a concave design is best for comfort, etc...

Q: 5. will the short stem fit sony alpha a- mount?

A: No, this button is for use on cameras that have threaded shutter buttons.

Q: 6. What are the o-rings dimensions used to secure these for use with Fujifilm X 100 cameras?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not indicate the dimensions of the O-rings provided with this button.

Q: 7. What are advantages of convex vs concave soft release shutter buttons?

A: There is no correct answer; it is simply a personal preference. If you tend to arch your finger over the shutter release, you may prefer the convex option, while if you use the tip of your finger or your finger is typically flat when pressing the shutter button, the concave option may be preferred. But as stated, it is simply personal preference and there is no right or wrong option.

Q: 8. Hi, will this product work with the Nikon D800?

A: No - sorry it wont. The D-800 has a flat shutter button with no thread. TH

Q: 9. Is the button metal or plastic?

A: Button is metal. It also unscrewed itself even though I frequently tightened. The original Abrasom button I had also unscrewed itself. They work great but I cannot keep them on. I am not willing to use lock tight on my Leica.

Q: 10. Will this soft release shutter button fit (and work week with) a Nikon FM2N?

A: This will fit all standard shutter release threads, and should work without issue.

[Threaded Screw] The large walnut convex soft shutter release really improves the handling and the hot shoe cover helps match the color of the brown leather half case.

[Threaded Screw] Does what it says it will do. Makes the shutter touch a little smoother. And you can spin/move the button to turn on/off the camera.

[Woodgrain] Very nice shutter release! Now if I don't lose it.
I purchased this piece as it is very low key, sophisticated in a subtle way and it also matches my Opinel pocket knife that is always with me.

[Woodgrain] I must give this 5 starts as it works exceptionally well. I just have never used one before so my experience is that it is not for me. I wanted something to cover the threads on my new Fuji XT-2, but i find it to be kind of an odd feeling shutter release. I know some people love them so if you are one then this is a great item.

[Woodgrain] All my photos now come out 1000% cooler. Not sure what technology is involved or what the interface with the camera is, but it just works.

[Woodgrain] Bought one of these to try on my Fujifilm X-T2. I saw nothing inferior about this button (meaning some folks mentioned they liked the more expensive one better etc...). Every bit as good as a higher priced one in my humble opinion. I also have 2 Fujifilm X-T2's. I subsequently bought 2 more for each of these cams. No need to procrastinate about buying this baby. Just do it :)
