[17.3 lb] GVM is a brand I trust but some of their less expensive products can be a hit or miss. I saw this in the DealZone and happened to be in the market for a light exactly like this. Decided to go ahead and grab one and I was not disappointed. Really happy with it so far!

[17.3 lb] the light puts out very soft and even light. the doors on the side are great for controlling spill. feels like it is built well. even with 2 batteries it is still light enough to use on a basic articulating arm. lots of great uses from tabletop photography to accent or even small key light for video.

[28 x 23 x 6"] I needed a soft, flattering, even light for a multi-city headshot tour of 8 offices, 13 days of shooting, across the country for a major financial firm. These lights delivered. While larger than I'm used to traveling with, the extra weight was worth it. Durable. I am not easy on equipment, these shrugged off my carelessness. Results for the portraits? Post production consisted of a little cropping. No hot spots, even on shiny skin types. Even color temp, even "duration " of light- they were consistent, which is what I needed. I paired them with two smaller LED back lights/ hair lights, results were exquisite. Best LEDs I've used to date, and I've used A LOT of LEDs across multiple brands, ranging from pro level to cheap "need an extra light" consumer level.

[Yes] Great for on the go interviews where you don't want or need to set up elaborate lighting. Just plug it in or use the batteries, turn it on, adjust your settings. Nothing else you can really do which is good if you just want to get to shooting. Just don't expect to modify the light and use as is. Its not a one size fits all light.

If you find yourself in tight spaces and need a soft light to get the job done, nothing else is like it. Perfect light for small offices spaces. I have yet to use it for web camera purposes, but I would image this could clamp onto a desk in some fashion and be a wonderful light for that. It does weight enough to be mindful of how you clamp it. Do it right, do it safe.

As far as power of the lights go, they are adequate. Don't expect to overpower the sun, but more then enough for indoor use. Don't expect to put these lights far away from your talent though. They do run on batteries. Don't expect that kind of power.

[Proprietary] My studio is a small bedroom so space is a premium and having to use large modifiers chews up alot of that space due to the desk having to be pulled away from the wall to make space for the lights. This GVM light panel just solved a major problem for me. It provides very powerful but yet soft light in almost zero space. Just clamp it to the edge of the desk and done. Not only does it take up less space, but its also lighter than my other lights so booming it over head for product shots will be much safer and easier to do. The light is very pleasing look and gets very bright for the size of the panel (I purchased the 15 version). It comes with both a case and power supply but can also be ran from batteries (sold separately) so it offers a ton of flexibility. I think I am going to pick up a second one now since it will help free up space in my studio.

[17.3 lb] I use these lights for photo and video. The light is so clean, soft and even. It falls so nicely on the face. I even use it for some product photography. Comes with a nice case, batteries, AC plug, etc. I now own 6 of these lights and have them on various project sites for my photography business.
