The AMT Bass Clarinet Wireless Mic System for Enhanced Performancefrom AMT Bass Clarinet Wireless Mic System for Enhanced Performancecomes with the ZRIII multi-channel dual UHF Receiver and the Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter. The system can be completed by adding any AMT microphone for wireless, belt-pack free instrument miking.

The included ZRIII dual receiver allows for up to two microphone/transmitter combos to be used with it at a time. It includes two XLR balanced outputs (channels A & B) on the back panel for discrete routing of each channel into your mixer. In addition, channel A also has an unbalanced 1/4" output. The receiver also employs an automatic frequency scan feature for quickly finding the band with the strongest available signal.

The Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter can power and attach to any AMT microphone for wireless miking of guitars, saxophones, trumpets and more. The transmitter includes a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charge life of up to 8 hours of continuous use. It also features a lit LCD display for visibility on stage, an on/off button for saving battery life during breaks as well as a mute button.

[5 dBuV] This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one. 5

[>95 dB] I use this microphone for live performance of clarinet + live electronics. Finally I am able to be mobile and compact on the stage, not using two separate microphones (with so many holes sound source is practically everywhere in this kind of instrument). I hope this solution will also help to avoid feedback problems. Sound quality is great, but I am not expecting it to be 100% natural, since the lower microphone is pointing almost directly to the bell, getting very rich of low freqs sound. I think it will be best to combine it with wireless solution. 5

[UHF 600-930 MHz] This thing is black-hole heavy; I use them for my trumpets and haven't even slid them accidentally.� I still have a heavy duty folder, which loves to tip over, and when folded still adds a good deal of bulk to my bag, which loses me mouthpieces of room.� This stand unscrews to almost two dimensions, and the price is outstanding. I fully expected sheet metal powdercoated and bent down along the edges -- the base is actually carved out of a car immobilizer. 5

[2 W] Great quality sound, easy setup and use. Doesn't get in the way. Easy to move between my tenor and alto without any wires hanging anywhere. Compared the sound to DPA 4099, which I thought lacked a little bit of the body of the tenor sax sound. Returned that and kept the AMT. seems like this is the best. Full wireless and no body pack is great, but you do have the transmitter on your bell which some may not like the look of. It's light though, so you don't fee it or notice. 5
