Featuring a small, 11mm size, the shutter release button attaches to your camera via a threaded screw, tapered to fit most cameras, and comes with two small anti-slip O-rings, which use friction to prevent the button from loosening. Enlarging and raising the point of contact for your shutter finger can result in added comfort and the ability to use slower shutter speeds with improved sharpness.

A: Button is metal. It also unscrewed itself even though I frequently tightened. The original Abrasom button I had also unscrewed itself. They work great but I cannot keep them on. I am not willing to use lock tight on my Leica.

A: The button just needs to be screwed in all the way to the shutter button.

Q: 10. What is the difference between a long stem and a short stem? What size do you usually use?

A: The button's long stem is compatible with Fujifilm's X-series cameras, traditional cameras, and Leica's M10 and older cameras. The long stem clears the collar that surrounds the shutter button on the camera body. The short stem is compatible only with Leica's M Typ 240, M-E, and Monochrom cameras as well as the Fuji X-Pro2 and fits in the shutter collar.

[Threaded Screw] I must give this 5 starts as it works exceptionally well. I just have never used one before so my experience is that it is not for me. I wanted something to cover the threads on my new Fuji XT-2, but i find it to be kind of an odd feeling shutter release. I know some people love them so if you are one then this is a great item. 5
