Q: 1. can i connect 2 mics to 1 transmitter?

A: No.

Q: 2. Hi, I have a Sony HDR-PJ760 camcorder. Is this mic ECM-AW4 compatible with my camcorder? Thank You.

A: Yes, I use the ECM-AW4 with my Sony HDR-CX760 and it works great. Just use the mic input on the side of the camera.

Q: 3. What is the shipment weight for this rack mount

A: The shipping weight for this package is 20.0 lb.

Q: 4. If I wanted to use 4 units with a multi channel recorder can I do that? do they have multiple channels?

A: We would not advise using 4 sets of these in one location.

Q: 5. Can I use 2 sets of Sony ECM AW4 concurrently in a 2 persons interview?

A: Yes, the mic sets seem to come with their own BT built in pairing codes. No seeing required. I have used 2 sets of these mics in close proximity, (interview style) and they stay on their own separate channel.

Q: 6. For me it is imperative that I can use this device with an iPhone 6 or an iPad. Is it compatible?

A: At this time I have been unable to connect the bluetooth mic directly with a PC or tablet. The only way to connect it that I know of is the analogue mic input on the tablet.

Q: 7. If I use a splitter and connect 3 or 4 of these, will there be phase alignment issues and sound weird?

A: Hmm...how would that work? As far as I know, there's a fixed relationship between the mic and the receiver- where would you add the splitter?

Q: 8. are speakers included?

A: No, they are not. You will need speakers and an amplifier for your conference microphone system to operate properly. I have had the microphones for over a year now, and they work very well.Jerry Robinson

Q: 9. XLR (or 1/4") out to USB, for use with Zoom? We're holding meetings that are up to 20 people, hybrid onsite/offsite using Zoom. We used a single omnidirectional mic that was abysmal, the participants at home could hear almost nothing. If I took the XLR out of this, adapted it to USB on the laptop, does anyone know if this would be recognized as a single mic input that would then be broadcast?

A: You can mix the XLR output of the Pyle Pro PDWM8300 VHF Wireless Conference Microphone System (B&H # PYPDWM8300) down through a USB sound card, which will be recognized as a single USB microphone input when connected to a computer.

Q: 10. how long does the battery last?

A: I use Eneloop pro batteries and i have been working with them over 5 hours

[±48 kHz] Great quality sound, easy setup and use. Doesn't get in the way. Easy to move between my tenor and alto without any wires hanging anywhere. Compared the sound to DPA 4099, which I thought lacked a little bit of the body of the tenor sax sound. Returned that and kept the AMT. seems like this is the best. Full wireless and no body pack is great, but you do have the transmitter on your bell which some may not like the look of. It's light though, so you don't fee it or notice.

[10 mW] For those of us replacing thousands of dollars worth of UHF mics which are about to become obsolete, this is a surprisingly robust choice. I've tested four of these (at the same time) in NYC (mid-town Manhattan) as well as in downtown Washington DC , and they are flawless. Per other reviewers, you can hear a bit of latency if you're monitoring the receiver output in real time, but so far, it hasn't shown-up on the actual video playback. The other most-frequent complaint I saw in the reviews was frequency interference (dropouts or complete loss of audio) in large auditoriums. Since I always work in smaller venues (only up to large conference rooms), I took a chance on these and ended up buying four, as my test results remained 100% positive in the smaller venues (even in NYC & DC). Just be sure to use the Sony-supplied cable between the receiver and your camera (or from each of multiple receivers to your usual splitter to your camera), as you need 25db to 35db of attenuation which is built-in to the Sony-supplied cable. Thanks to a couple of other reviewers for mentioning this in passing.

[105 dB] This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one.

[10 mW] I have used this microphone as my go to piano mic for years. I bought this one as a spare. Less expensive than most of the competition and sounds just as good or better.

[105 dB] Bought this to add a third Mike to my existing two Mike setup. The setup included 3 transmitters, two lavaliers and one hand held, but only 2 receivers. This, along with a simple 3 input mixer, allowed for simultaneous use of all three microphones.
