The AMT Q7-TA2 Wireless Microphone System for Soprano Saxophonefrom AMT Q7-TA2 Wireless Microphone System for Soprano Saxophoneincludes a Q7 AA powered transmitter with true diversity receiver, rack ears, and extension cables. The Quantum7 transmitter clips on to all AMT microphones that include DCT. You simply need to disconnect the cable from the microphone and plug in the transmitter. With 100 channels to choose from (region dependent), the system is simple to use while providing good quality sound. The receiver is a true diversity design allowing the wireless reception up to approximately 328'. The receiver is constructed with a rugged metal chassis, which includes a 1/4" and XLR output. Additionally it features high-quality transient response, no delay, no background noise, with multi-level narrow band filter technology.

A: You can mix the XLR output of the Pyle Pro PDWM8300 VHF Wireless Conference Microphone System (B&H # PYPDWM8300) down through a USB sound card, which will be recognized as a single USB microphone input when connected to a computer.

A: When I purchased this set, it came in a box with styrofome. No bag. Also, I don't consider this unit to be portable since the base unit isn't small, so I wouldn't expect a bag to come with it.

Q: 6. Do the transmitters have on/off switches to allow presenter to mute themselves?

A: The transmitters included with the Pyle Pro PDWM2958B 2-Person Wireless Combo Microphone System do not have mute controls.

Q: 7. For me it is imperative that I can use this device with an iPhone 6 or an iPad. Is it compatible?

A: At this time I have been unable to connect the bluetooth mic directly with a PC or tablet. The only way to connect it that I know of is the analogue mic input on the tablet.

Q: 8. are speakers included?

A: No, they are not. You will need speakers and an amplifier for your conference microphone system to operate properly. I have had the microphones for over a year now, and they work very well.Jerry Robinson

Q: 9. This system has 16 bit audio instead of 24. Does this make a huge difference?

A: A higher bit depth will enable higher dynamic range. 16-bit audio has a dynamic range of 96 dB, and 24-bit audio has a range of 144 dB.

Q: 10. If I wanted to use 4 units with a multi channel recorder can I do that? do they have multiple channels?

A: We would not advise using 4 sets of these in one location.

[600 to 928 MHz] The K&M Soprano Sax Stand is a solid secure stand that I don't have to worry about tipping. I can carry it to gigs in my case but the fit in my case is a little too snug too feel comfortable with using it for regular storage. I'm definitely happy with this stand. 5

[600 to 928 MHz] I use this microphone for live performance of clarinet + live electronics. Finally I am able to be mobile and compact on the stage, not using two separate microphones (with so many holes sound source is practically everywhere in this kind of instrument). I hope this solution will also help to avoid feedback problems. Sound quality is great, but I am not expecting it to be 100% natural, since the lower microphone is pointing almost directly to the bell, getting very rich of low freqs sound. I think it will be best to combine it with wireless solution. 5

[105 dB] I love this thing. Puts together in a flash. Stores in the bell of my sax in the case, so no extra bag or box to carry. The legs are metal, and because there are five of them, it's nearly impossible to tip over. 5

[>100 dB] Great quality sound, easy setup and use. Doesn't get in the way. Easy to move between my tenor and alto without any wires hanging anywhere. Compared the sound to DPA 4099, which I thought lacked a little bit of the body of the tenor sax sound. Returned that and kept the AMT. seems like this is the best. Full wireless and no body pack is great, but you do have the transmitter on your bell which some may not like the look of. It's light though, so you don't fee it or notice. 5

[105 dB] This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one. 5
